Pretty good! Picked up half a dozen donut holes, a maple bar, and a chocolate chocolate donut. Pretty soft considering it's almost 1pm! The workers are very nice and the total came out to $7.20 I'd come back if I needed a donut fix in the morning.

Love this location for my donut fix! Sweet owners and donuts dont disappoint. I enjoy their donut holes and lemon filled donuts! Ample parking, indoor seating and when the fruits are in season you will be lucky to get cups of watermelon. Support this small business!

Great Doughnuts, very expensive though

A good alternative but not my favorite donuts; bought a dozen varieties and found them to be a little dry and the frosting no as flavorful as I like.

Paid $6.50 for 3 OLD donuts. Donut crumbled when bit from how old the dough was. Trash! I do not recommend.

Well I went there this morning 07/12/23I ordered a bagel since they already had their croissants and bagels pre-made-![.. they just didn't look good?so I ended up purchasing a plane bagel with bacon egg and cream cheeseOnce I got into my vehicle n open my bag ... the bagel was warm but the bacon and egg were cold it tasted like it was made yesterday?...? thewhole point was I wanted a freshly made egg with at least some decent bacon ... not what I got..I will never return back to this place againflysomethinheaded to the toilet once I get home

The night before, I was craving fluffy regular donuts. I was tempted to go to a 24-hour donut spot in Oakland but decided to wait until the next morning to stop somewhere closer. Using Yelp, I found "Donut Design" with mixed reviews and decided to check it out and see what the fuss was all about. It's located in a small shopping plaza off of Washington Ave and has very compact parking spaces in front. Make sure to watch your car doors! This spot has bold, red, upper case lettering on the store front - simple and easy to read off the streets. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted by anyone or a friendly smile, instead I said "Hello!" to the worker or possible owner. That's fine... no biggie but would've added to the experience.I glance to my right and see bright yellow colored benches to sit at for dine-in and to my left are the nicely lit donut displays. You can find a mixture of original, traditional, blueberry, twists, jelly-filled, apple fritters, and sprinkled varieties to choose from. Reviews mentioned to double check pricing for accuracy. I ended up getting half a dozen of regular traditional donuts for $8.99 and pricing seemed okay. This place took credit card but based on what I read on Yelp, if you want to avoid the credit card fee, aim for spending more than $5.Excited to sink my teeth into a chocolate covered donut, the first bite was chewy but not as fresh as I had hoped, kind of stale. The flavor of the donut was okay. It could've been because I picked up donuts in the afternoon or the heat impacted the flavor, not sure. I'm willing to try this place again but may not be my first choice. Support local and try it out!

1st time here and I felt kinda rushed. Prices high. I was asked like 5 times what type of cappuccino I want. That's after asking if they had espresso shots, witch not. When going to pay for my Cappuccino. Last minute told about a 1$ debit charge. I asked why isn't that information posted. A worker played stupid like ( o, it's not posted and looked around).

Can I give it 6 stars? Loved the Donuts. It's soo light and tasteful. It's like take a bite into a cloud. Even if you buy them in the morning heat up to eat the next day.Went the first time yesterday and devoured 5 donuts during the day with my wife. The next day I had to go again to buy 7 more. I'm switching from a cake for my birthday to a bunch of donuts this year.

I love supporting small businesses and will try to make it a priority. This staple donut shop in San Leandro has the best ham and cheese croissant! It's nice and warm and the croissant is perfectly fluffy and flaky. Perfect snack I've been coming here for a very long time and the owner is super nice. Never failed me!

DOUBLE CHECK THE PRICE AND HOW MUCH YOU ARE BEING CHARGEDThis is a great donut shop with potential and the male worker who works there is fantastic but my major issue is with the elderly woman. She constantly overcharges and this has been an on going issue with many others as well as myself. There's been so many complaints I doubt she is still oblivious to it and am convinced what she's doing wrong is either severely poorly managed or is straight intentionally stealing from customers.

Super friendly owner and family. Been in operation for three decades. If you're on a diet, be careful LOL! The donuts here are made just right! Great way to treat yourself or a friend. I usually stop here whenever I order a sandwich next door at Bara's. Enjoy!
