The blinds are dirty and there’s layers of dust on surfaces. The service was poor and very limited. I had to ask about how to order after standing at the counter while the server spoke with another staff member. The sushi is certainly fish and rice but I’m not sure about the quality. I left after only eating one roll because of the fruit flies and the heavy smell of disinfectant that permeated the restaurant. I didn’t even feel brave enough to see if the restroom was clean or not. Will not be returning.

Great sushi. Great pricing. Terrible hygiene. The place is DIRTY!

Note to the owners: you need to hire a company to deep clean your place. The benches are soiled, your windows and blinds are disgusting. It’s not a healthy environment.

I went to Fat Fish for dinner last week with a friend. As in the past, the food was lovely. We each ordered a specialty roll, each ordered one appetizer, she ordered water and I ordered a beer. Pretty simple, right? Our bill showed as $57 on the kiosk, which was reasonable. When the server presented the paper bill, an additional $48 had been added. My friend attempted to dispute the additional $48 charges but the servers as well as the owner continued to insist that the charges were valid. My friend did end up getting very upset and demanded the restaurant refund her $48. She was mostly outraged that they were very disrespectful and were talking to her as if she was an idiot and didn’t know what we had ordered. Eventually, they did say that they would refund only $36 of the $48 that they over-charged us. They said that they would refund $36 electronically and gave her $12 in cash. When my friend checked her bank account later, instead of seeing a $36 refund, she saw that in fact, the restaurant had CHARGED her an additional $36. Fat Fish owes her $36 and an apology. We will NOT be eating there again and suggest that IF you do, only pay in cash but still carefully review your bill.

Food is good. Satisfying portions. Price is reasonable. Place is similar to American diners.

I ordered Bento box. I got California rolls and teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki chicken was very dry hard to eat with hardly any teriyaki sause. California rolls were not fresh. I ate soup and salad. The rest of it was terrible. I use go here all the time. I was very disappointed. I also let the girl at the register know how bad it was. I was hungry and the food wasn't good. I guess I will be looking for a better sushi place to eat next time. Big disappointment 😞

Stopped by for lunch at 2pm and plenty of seating inside. I used the self order kiosk on the table, which made ordering a breeze. The sushi rolls came out in about 8-10 minutes and they were huge rolls.

I typically eat two, but I coule barely finish these. They were incredibly filling and each roll was less than $12, which is a great deal in 2024. Service was excellentand I really enjoyed the meal. I get work done on my car across the street often, so i'll be stopping by whenever i'm in the area from now on.

Parking: It seems like there are about 12 or so spots, but also plenty of parjing along E.14th in front of the restaurant, as well as the side street which crosses it.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access for wheelchairs.

Been coming here for years off of a recommendation.
The number 69 is always a hit with me.
The dumplings that we tried for the first time were fried a little too hard for our liking but the flavor was otherwise good.
They have a new virtual ordering system if you dine in that we didn't prefer which overcharged our party and didn't reflect on the receipt but otherwise this place is usually a hit with the family

Parking: Small parking lot and street parking available

Kid-friendliness: High chairs available
Could use a few more kid friendly options on the menu
