Service was good and food also. Took grandsons, they both enjoy the food. Small seating area but I was okay waiting
Absolutely delicious! Great and friendly service. I had the ham and cheese omelet. Lost some of the magic when I found out they get most of their products from Costco Business Center.

My mom and I came to this place by the recommendation from the garbage guy that serves our neighborhood.. Then my husband was also told that this place is a jewel đ
We were served by Emma, she was so nice to us. We acknowledged her that it was our first time there. Coffee was hot and did not have a burned taste, just perfect. I ordered bacon and eggs with a very picky request. Hash browns were delicious. My Mom ordered French toast and a side of bacon. She shared with me a slice of French toast and omg. It was fluffy, soft and not dry. Very nice vanilla flavor. The syrup was warmed and so now weâre hooked to this place. We had to put our names on the wait list as the sitting is limited because itâs a small place but itâs name says it all, the fifth wheel, a rare jewel near downtown San Leandro. Service and food are better than the Pelton cafe

I stopped at 5th Wheel Food for breakfast on my first morning in San Francisco, and it felt like stepping into a little time capsule. The place has a small, homey, no-frills charm that instantly makes you feel like youâre in on a local secret. The service was warm and genuine, and the breakfast was solidânot anything groundbreaking, but comforting in that classic diner way.
What made the visit really special was the history. While sitting at the counter, a woman came in who used to drive a bus back in the 80s and used to stop here regularly. She was thrilled to see it was still around, and hearing her stories added a whole extra layer to the experience. Sharing that moment made me appreciate how much history and connection a place like this holds.
Iâm really glad I got to experience this little piece of San Franciscoâs past. If you enjoy places with character, nostalgia, and a true neighborhood feel, 5th Wheel Food is worth a stop.

The food here is delicious! They give you good portions and the price is reasonable. I donât usually take pics of food but I had to share this place with you all!
The customer service isnât the best. I had a young fella as my server and it felt like he wanted to be anywhere but there. No please, Thank You, check-in on food, etc. It seemed like a family run place and he seemed like the son. The âownersâ were very friendly and focused on the restaurant.
I would come back here for the food! I donât need to be coddled when I eat breakfast, I just want the server to pretend to care during our 30 second interactions. Still have them 5 stars for amazing food and cute little place off the road! *parking sketchy*

Driven passed for years, heard about the place word of mouth, first time trying this week - IT'S A NO FOR ME! Almost $20 for a simple pancake breakfast? The TWO Pancakes were sizeable but bland, dark/overcooked, and tasted like an uncleaned grill. The sausage tasted like it was cooked days before and reheated. The eggs were the only decent part of the meal.
If I want a fulfilling, reasonably-priced breakfast, I'll gladly go to Nation's next time.

This is the dive that you didn't know you needed in your life, and I'm about to tell you what to order for BREAKFAST that will change your life. Get the Korean BBQ pork, with rice for breakfast. Eggs, sunnyside up, skip the toast.
