Very authentic cantonese and other chinese food. There is only one woman working at the counter doing table service and making drinks, which was very impressive and she did excellent service. The yogurt drinks with purple rice were my favorite. We got the crispy noodle with chicken, which was great and not too oily. Everyone seemed to be getting the clay pot and the hand shredded chicken so we have to go back to try that. They also do a fun nine dessert sampler that let us try a lot of things. Great experience, will be back again!

I have been here 4-5 times
I always used to get the chicken claypot to-go.
I loved how tender and easy to eat it was!
This time, I decided to dine in and found out they have desserts and cakes! Wow, this place is perfect for birthdays, team outings, or holidays!
* Mixed Offal Claypot:
This pot comes with its own sound effects! I thought I was listening to a beatbox. This dish is wild; you don't smell it much, but the sizzling and crackling sounds hit you first!
Both the meat and veggies have a great smoky flavor and aren't too salty. The meat is so tender and juicy. This was definitely my favorite and most satisfying dish today!
* Sizzling Crispy Grass Carp:
I thought this was pork, but it's fish! This dish smokes like a busy temple with lots of incense.
I almost thought a god had appeared and was ready to make an offering! The fish has a fantastic crispy and bouncy texture and a unique, fresh, almost grassy taste, all while still smoking!
* Hand-Shredded Chicken:
The lettuce and chicken are shredded really finely~~no bones!
I always like how hand-shredded chicken is cooked first, then torn, because it keeps the meat's texture and makes it richer. It also soaks up sauce better.
I'm taking the rest home to eat with century eggs! Hehe, that's my secret, super-delicious way to enjoy it!
* Nine-Grid Handmade Desserts:
This feels like a fancy Japanese Kyoto-style dessert platter.
There's always room for dessert after dinner, and this is so satisfying.
It's great if you want to try a little bit of everything!
I really liked the steamed milk pudding and the handmade mango pomelo sago pudding~so smooth!
I might get them to-go next time!

All rice dishes are good, very tasty 😋
Food was a bit oily but the service was outstanding!
Taste really Cantonese, doesn’t look like a restaurant but turns out one of my favorite restaurants in San Leandro
A good local cafe with a yogurt bar in it. Authentic seasoning but not that decent.
Good enough for a neighborhood cafe. I’ll recommend the Clay pot (Frog) and the turmeric Pork stomach with Chicken. Eel is just okay.
Their rice yogurt that they sell at markets is amazing! Comes with fruit and is just a fantastic treat!
I love yogurts and was skeptical about rice yogurt, but it turned out to be delicious!

this place is a hidden gem for Cantonese! The taste is identical and similar to what I ate in Guangdong China growing up.
Get 酸菜鱼 and 砂姜猪肚。 so good.
Quality has gone. Noodle soup tastes like water without any taste. Wonton and pork rib changfen claypot seem to be made of bad parts of rib. Disappointed
The service was great – the waitress was super friendly and there weren't many people, so it was easy to chat with friends.
But the food? Let's just say it could use a serious upgrade.
(Basically, it wasn't very good.)
I went with my friends for lunch, and we tried:
• Claypot Pig Intestines: The intestines were clean, but the flavor was just okay. (Way too salty and greasy.)
• Claypot Frog Pot: The frog was tender, but the overall flavor was just meh. (Again, too salty and oily.)
• Stir-fried Beef with River Noodles: The beef was tender, but that's about it. (So bland and greasy.)
Seriously, everything was swimming in oil!
Let’s talk about the advantages first. The waitress is very friendly. There are not many customers in the store, so it is suitable for chatting.
But the food quality really has a lot of room for improvement.
(In short, it’s not delicious)
Went for lunch with friends and we ordered:
Jie Jie Pig Intestine: The taste is okay, the pig intestines are cleaned very clean (a little salty, a little oily)
Gejie frog stew: The taste is good, the frog is very tender (a little salty, a little oily)
Dry fried beef river: the beef is very tender (a little bland and a little oily)
All three dishes are very oily! Very oily!

This is one most authentic Cantonese cuisine in the bay. The food is absolutely amazing and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. However, I wouldn’t recommend coming here when you are in a rush. They don’t have enough people for the capacity of the restaurant. Usually we would need to wait 5-10 mins to order and 20+ mins for foods.
