Wonderful Bavarian restaurant with authentic food and a cozy atmosphere. The dishes were delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A great place to enjoy traditional Bavarian flavors.

Very nostalgic and comforting food. It won’t blow you away, but it’s solid. They have all the American classics so it’s worth checking out.

Sometimes I just want a big old plate of comfort food. Harry’s has a wide selection. Pick and choose as you go down the line. The he seating area is large and spread out. There aren’t s lot of these types of restaurants around. These guys have been at it a long time. Casual, plenty of food. Mellow atmosphere.

Solid hof brau, staff were friendly and helpful. Roast beef sandwich roll wasn't quite as good as the kaiser rolls at Sam's hof brau, but this place is still open. Cheese cake was delicious.
Harry's Hofbrau is the best restaurant in San Leandro that I've been to bar none!

Comfort food and one hell of a beer selection.. Like after 14 days of manic house cleaning, the food will calm you down and you can just sit for a while, surf the web, read a book, watch sports on the TVs. The beer selection is NOT to be ignored. Separate bar area and outdoor dining. Used to be a rotisserie turkey in the window, but no more. Just a fake replica. Oh well. The food? Hofbrau fare, rotating menu, chicken, turkey, beef, prime rib, meat loaf, pork, dishes, lasagna, fish on Friday, mashed taters, multiple types of salads, lots of desserts, like tapioca, rice pudding, pie, ice cream, and of course, jello. Senior and kids meals. The portions are pretty good and sometimes downright generous. The evening crowd is pretty adult, although there are some kids. Lot of elderly come here as well. And did I mention the beer selection?? And I am truly sorry for the lack of pictures. I thought I had taken pictures but I just had this one shot of last night's beef stew. Pretty damn good and huge. Beef stew over white rice. I took half of it home as leftovers.

Now this is how you do it! Hang out with your friends and just eat and laugh.
The food gets cold pretty quickly but it’s still pretty good. Plenty pf comfort food options and pretty wide variety of desserts. They do everything cafeteria style so the wait times are pretty short.

We have been patronizing this Harry's Hofbrau...for literally YEARS, and each experience has been outstanding. Congratulations to Sean and every member of the staff for achieving a consistently 5-star experience ! The best turkey, meat loaf, salads and sides this side of Heaven...all served in an antiseptically clean and superior facility. While the other locations are similarly far above their competitors, San Leandro has a neighborhood gem...that is constantly serving singles, families and groups with a perfect experience. Thank you for never disappointing your customers !
Love this hofbrau. I have always liked this style of diner fare. The service is prompt. I was able to grab coffee while I hung out with my friends and get refills, too. The place was a bit too warm for me inside the restaurant, but that's honestly my only complaint. Great place, would definitely come back next time I am in town.
