The mint mojito and the mclovin muffin are my favorite go to's here. All their coffees are exceptionally great.

Friendliest staff ever! Our go to drinks are the yonce' and h 2 da izzo! I'm so glad they opened Hippie's Brew in San Leandro! The music is great and it's a cute coffee shop I like to stop by on the weekends.

The food was delicious and full of flavor. The service was excellent and very attentive to the needs of the customers. This place is definitely worth checking out to experience the vibe and astonishingly ascetic that the business has been able to achieve. It is a diamond in the rough so to speak for those looking for more than the usual.

I recently visited this location after finding out that there's one in San Leandro. It's located in the Greenhouse Marketplace Plaza where the old Duckface Boba was. There were a few tables and seats inside and the music is fairly loud. I would definitely not go here to work, if that's what you're looking for. The decor is really cool, especially the big mural on the back wall with Bay Area artists. Customer service can be improved. I walked in with my husband and there was only another couple waiting for their drinks. There were 4 staff standing behind the register area and not one acknowledged that we even entered the building. Once I was standing in front of the register, a couple of them looked at me without again acknowledging me until one girl finally did. Also, there was just absolutely no energy in that group of staff - I did not see one person even smile. I got the Rick Ross with oat milk and my husband got the medium roast latte with oat milk. Both drinks were on par with their other locations. For those of you who haven't tried a Hippies Brew drink, just keep in mind that most of their drinks are pretty sweet; I think even more so than Starbucks. I will probably wait some time until I visit this location until the service improves.

Been coming since they opened their first location on Foothill. Love love HB so much. Even more since they opened a location in San Leandro. I try to go every morning if I can. It's my go to spot, I recommend it to everyone I know. The only downside is how inconsistent their hours are. They change every month. Now I can't go in the morning since they don't open till 8, but still will go on my free time. The mclovin muffin is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. And I love the ambiance and welcoming feeling the location gives and also the staff is super friendly! They really do make the whole experience :)

I've been a fan since their original Hayward location. The coffee is still the best feature. I like the Allen Iverson and the Rick Ross. I prefer mine hot with oat milk. I'm glad that they are able to keep the flavors on point when using oat milk. Some places don't realize how strong oat milk can be and drowns out flavor. That's my main reason I love Hippie Brew. I haven't had a miss yet regarding their coffees. The food isn't as great. I ordered the Freakin French Toast and it was mid. It came with turkey bacon, egg and cheese between two french toast buns with the syrup on the side. Reminded me of a frozen french toast sandwich my mom used to get us as a quick breakfast before leaving for school. Not something I would expect from a coffee shop. I don't remember their food being this mid. Moving forward I'll stick with coffee. Also this location does not have a bathroom but you can use the one at a nearby business. Parking is horrific in this plaza but is manageable.b

I used to really enjoy Hippies Brew, but my last few visits have been a bit of a letdown. You know those delicious items they flaunt on Instagram? Well, they seem to be on a permanent vacation when I show up. And don't get me started on how often they're out of things I crave. It's not just this one location—it seems like a pattern. ??????

Went to the HB in Hayward for the first time in over 8 years and saw the flyer for the soft opening of Chulo Tacos @ the San Leandro location and had to check it out! What a dope experience! Vibes were super chill, great music! We were the first ones there and tried the La Fonduhh their take on the crunch wrap was absolutely fantastic! Also tried the Chismee Tacos, were the best tacos we have ever tried, finally the nachos, the chips were so crispy with the perfect about of salt! The sauces were so yummy! Grabbed a Rick Ross for the road, such a delicious experience! So glad to see how much they have grown over the years!

Came at 2 pm when the hours says until 3 and it's was locked with workers on their phones. Please update your hours so people don't come over here for no reason.

Long ago, I left a review for the OG Hayward location. I'm talking at least 7-8 years ago. I'm happy to say, after a recent re-visit, I was left happy and satisfied that it's just as delicious as I remembered.I stopped by the fairly new SL location and I have to say, it's so cute, clean, and fresh in there. The Freakin' French Toast sandwich...*chef's kiss* still impeccable. I've had daydreams about that sandwich since the moment I had my first one. There's something about that French toast and the density/texture of it. The coffee - delish. I will say, to my own fault, I messed up in ordering what coffee I wanted. And even though I had ordered a plain black cold brew, the very nice staff kindly gave me some cream on the side to cut the strength. It was much appreciated (and much needed, their crack cold brew is very intense haha) 10/10 - would love to come back. Would love to work from there for a couple hours.

Came in around noon and so many of the drinks were sold out already. My bf ordered a rick ross and I ordered a ice s coco with no sugar but it was still extremely sweet. It had a nice coconut flavor, but unfortunately I was not able to finish it due to the sweetness. I'm not sure if this place makes the coffee fresh, but when I saw the barista making our drinks, she just poured it from a large pre-made jug.
