Visited this place for a group birthday lunch. We had a reservation so we were seated fairly quickly.Food was great and not too heavy. Recommended the garlic bread and their grilled shrimp scampi. The cost of the food for the quality and quantity you get was great as well.Service was good as well since we were a big group and had two waitresses. There were times when water glasses weren't refilled as quickly, but they looked to be short staffed on a Sunday so it wasn't a huge deal.It was a very nice and sunny day, the restaurant had a lot of natural light from it being on the Marina. It's was also nice to be sitting near the windows to enjoy the view.Putting them down on my list of restaurants to come back to in the future.

Love watching the sunset ? as we ate and enjoyed each other company. The waitress was great at giving suggestions on the menu. Her suggestions turned out wonderful. Scallops, crab dip, coconut shrimp and sides came out hot and delicious. Dragon Fizz drink was delicious ?

Oysters on the half shell and seafood trio: salmon, shrimps, and scallops. With a glass of sav Blanc , sunset and good company. Monday night was not busy and plenty of opportunity for a chill night. Would recommend.
The food was fantastic, as was staff. The sampler platter is still delicious. However, I do miss the tall serving tower. We had a server in training and did have to ask for a bread basket.The disappointment was not the restaurant but the now defunct marina. The dock is no longer in operation and really does take away from the ambiance. The food is great. Perfet filet mignon, potatoes, and asparagus.Kid-friendliness: Horatio has always been accommodating to both my younger and older children.
I have been to Haratio's before. Maybe it was because it was close to closing. But the slick back haired waiter was literally watering down every drink he served other patrons. I don't know if it's normal business practice but for the cost of the drinks that's foul. Even sadder is the bartender who watched him doing it and said nothing. I didn't order a drink and encouraged my partner to watch the waiter in action. The food was ok, needed more seasoning but I will count it to the fact that it was close to closing.

Wasn't thrilled with the calamari or clam chowder, both are go to's of mine. The calamari didn't seem "fresh" and the clam chowder just had too much other stuff in it (veggies I believe, bacon bits), and the taste was still a bit bland. But The keylime pie was very good!
i had treated myself for a nice lunch...i got the bill, and it stated "LIVINGWAGE surcharge" they actually charge this on your bill. I have no idea what this is...this is a scam!.

Horatio's is down at the old marina, shame the city shut the marina down but the restaurant is still there. Casual seafood place that has been around forever. They remodeled the inside recently, look nice. Clean and the food is good.
