I came on my birthday last week. I was sat at a super small table and another family was squeezed next to me. Spanish speaking people. My server helped them first after I was waiting. I asked about birthday breakfast. Server very sharp response NO. Didn’t encourage me to check out other options. Instead she started chatting with the Spanish family never came back to me. I left and checked out another place. Customer service isn’t the same these days. Awful

The Menu for kids didn't have beverages sizes for kids.

They had no customers, so it should have been easy as pie for the staff to see the homeless man sitting in a chair in the hallway, near the bathroom, brushing his teeth and talking to himself. It would have been nice if they had offered him a meal.

I have eaten at alot of Ihops in my time but this one was really good! The staff was all very nice and we had a very small wait. But we also had a group of 10 and it was a Sunday morning but they got us in fast which was nice. I had a buger and it was cooked to perfection which you don't usually see at a chain restaurant. The prices were really good to I would definitely eat here again. 10/10

picked up my order, only to find part of it missing. The food itself was fine, but the service was unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but refusing to refund the missing portion shows poor customer care. I would rather not drive out again to pickup missing order. Very disappointing experience for a brand like IHOP.

I tried this location and I think they
Can do better, my dish was skimpy, hash brown was smaller than used to be, ham very small. About service? Well we got seated at a partially clean table. In general portions are not very good neither service. The waiter was just trying to comply with the task, but I know could be better. Over priced side of hash brown and skimpy. We are Not coming back for sure.

Let’s start with the obvious: IHOP has pancakes in the name. You’d think that means something special… but every IHOP I’ve been to leaves me disappointed. San Leandro is no different. The pancakes taste like a box mix you just add water to. Crepes looked nice but had the same problem: no flavor.

This location also felt a bit dark, and service was slow. Not terrible, just underwhelming. So 2 stars... a little below the already “average IHOP experience.”

If it called itself a 24-hour diner, I’d say 4 stars easy. But putting pancakes front and center sets the bar higher… and they don’t clear it. Even Pelton Café down the street does them better. Pelton is unfortunately packed all the time.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is pretty delicious here but the atmosphere and service of this place can get pretty bad. Especially when the managers treat their employees like crap. I don’t work there but by the looks of it the managers don’t know whether to set their employees to bust down tables, handle food orders, or clean dishes. Breaks my heart seeing the employees being treated poorly by their higher ups. If you plan on working here, be prepared to be treated like nothing.
