Stopped here on the way back to the I.E. from Oakland. Everything was great. Excellent choice of breakfast items.

The pistachio latte confusingly doesn’t have coffee (a latte, by definition, is coffee and milk, and the only common alternative usage is re: a chai latte - not sure what “pistachio” as a beverage is without that) and I only found out when I watched the cashier add two shots of espresso on the order screen, thus making it suddenly $9 for a MEDIUM latte with a flavor. HARD pass.

Clarity in calling the item something else would be ideal.

Otherwise, I’ve found service here not the most consistent, the entry way often has obnoxious flies, and the door is perpetually wide open, whether it’s hot or cold out - I think there’s no ac unit as I recall it being unbearable the last time I visited while it was hot. The place could use some care as well as the employees, who don’t need to suffer through all that.

Worst experience, bad food quality, the staff are absurdly slow; stay away from this place

Wonderful spot to get breakfast. I read the previous comments and I have no idea what that woman is talking about. The place is very clean, no flies at all, and this is the 3rd time I've been here because the food is delicious and they offer vegan options. They have an outside patio to sit and the inside is big and spacious with interesting art. I'll definitely be back, but the coffee can get expensive when you sub nondairy milk and I would recommend ordering ahead in the mornings so you can quickly pick it up

Coffee with almond milk was gross. It had little to no coffee flavor. More like a tea. Took 40 minutes to make two breakfast buritos and one 8 inch pizza. The burrito was not even steak it was ground beef. And the avacado burito just wasent that great either..

Not a fan

I went in. I was not even greeted or acknowledged at all. There were three people behind the counter and no customers. The woman gave me a dirty look. I had money and I wanted coffee but that is there loss not mine for making me feel unwelcome. I will not return to this place.

Really good coffee. I did not know what to expect when I walked in, but it was a convenient location and I read that it was a nice atmosphere. The place was empty, the lady finally the counter was kind and unassuming. Absolutely delicious.

The perfectly grilled veggie quesadilla held a delicious blend of fresh ingredients, making each bite warm and cheesy.

STAY AWAY!!! I recently had a truly unpleasant experience at this restaurant both personal and from insiders... From the moment I stepped inside, the place was a mess. The floors were sticky, and the tables hadn't been wiped down properly. Not to mention, you are greeted with flies. But the real horror came when the food arrived and the way it was prepared. From flies, to moldy food... a true disgust. They make employees pre heat the food and freeze it for the next day and the lady who runs the places reuses the receipt papers to wrap and label the burritos. The milk was once brought home from her house and was expired and made the employees reuse it. The food that was moldy was cut off and sold like that! Anything that was expired was used to make orders...

The dish I ordered had a strange, off-putting smell, and upon closer inspection, I noticed mold growing on parts of the food. It looked like it hadn't been stored properly or had been sitting out for far too long. The texture was slimy, and the taste was even worse--like a mix of sour decay and old, rotting ingredients. The chorizo and bacon bits are frozen and microwaved along with eggs in a contaminated cutting and preparing the food area with flies always dancing around. Not to mention, the egg was sitting out for a couple of hours.

When I tried to bring it to the staff's attention, I was met with indifference. To top it off, the general cleanliness of the restaurant was appalling. The bathroom was a disaster, and there were food stains and poop on the walls. With my careful observations I saw the main lady going in and not washing her hands. It's clear that cleanliness and food safety are not priorities here.

Needless to say, I won't be returning, and I strongly advise anyone to stay far away from this place. It's a severe health hazard and a disgusting dining experience. This place needs to be shut down immediately due to the food poisoning!

I requested an iced latte with light ice. Batista was making it, and the owner or manager made him add more ice. If I request light ice, I expect light ice. That is what I am paying for. If I wanted a cup of ice, I would ask for a cup of ice. It seems it's made their way, not the customer way. Won't be coming back here.

They understand that vegan means no egg and no cheese but everything on the menu labeled vegan has egg cheese or fish. There is a falafel burrito available that seems safe but you have to ask for it specifically.
