Wow!!! Driving home with my kids from a beautiful celebration of life and someone said I was Chinese food... So I plugged in Chinese restaurant on Google Maps and we found JL Kitchen.Dinner with some seriously picky eaters with negative attitudes... where everyone says... "Wow... This food is soooo good" after trying each thing... This is a first!!!This place is amazing and I hope to find a reason to go to San Leandro more often... Or just to come here works!!!Kid-friendliness: One adult and 3 kids.... And when the youngest dropped her fork, I went to pick it up (because by the youngest of 4 and you chill out a lot!) But the server heard it hit the ground and came over with another one before we could get to it!
I JUST ordered, and received, my first ever ordered from JL Kitchen. Had it delivered. First of all, let me say that this is the very first time EVER receiving piping hot delivered food, from ANYWHERE!! So, big kudos for that!The portions are amazing! So much so that I shared it with my neighbor and am still STUFFED! The food, itself, was incredibly delicious!! First bite was a flavor explosion!! I will absolutely be ordering from them again.

Wow! This place is a diamond in the desert. Food is always fresh and delicious. I don’t know about takeout, but when you dine in the portions are huge. I personally love the Egg House Foo Young & Kung Pao Chicken with steamed rice.

I've been working nearby and decided to try this place because it was close. It doesn't look like much from the outside and the inside isn't super fancy but the food is amazing. The general chicken was particularly good as the coating on the chicken was the perfect amount of crispy and the sauce was delicious. I'll be back here for sure.

Such a disappointment. I went for soup ordered it over the phone was told a price and then when I picked it up was charged more , I also looked at the menu when I was there and the soup was listed at the lower price plus it was not a very good soup won't go

We ordered the orange and sweet and sour chicken. Sweet and sour pork, fried pork ribs, chicken chow mein and chicken fried rice. This is not the place for me. The orange chicken did not taste like orange chicken. All of the food was just not great. My family did not like it. I will not be going back.

We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli in Garlic Sauce and BBQ Pork Pan Fried Noodles. The Kung Pao chicken tasted like fish. For someone who doesn’t like fish it was not edible. My husband & daughter liked it though.

My wife said these were the best Moo Sho vegetables that she has had since moving to the Bay Area. I had the Orange Chicken, it was excellent. Lots of food and reasonable prices. We live in Berkeley and just discovered J L Kitchen. It is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip - excellent.
