5 stars for service!! Staff was super attentive and quick & hardworking despite it being quite busy. Refilled our bonchons when it got empty without us asking, explained what different sauces/things were for.Food was pretty good. Ginseng chicken was a little bit dry for the chicken and lacking in ginseng, but this is in comparison to the ones I had in Korea. Tofu soup & seafood pancake were pretty good; had better elsewhere (not in the bay) but it does the job. Japchae was a little too elastic but had good taste! Slightly on the pricier end as well (tofu soup was $17.5)

Beef tofu stew, I don’t know if people don’t like meat, I got very tiny pieces of beef, 5 pieces total. Prices are so high. They can totally rob me but still gave me “food”????

this place is probably the best place i’ve actually ever eaten at, the food is honestly so good there’s no words for it. i’ve been here maybe 4 times, 3 with my friends and 1 with my parents. even my picky parents said it was probably one of the best places they have ever eaten; the atmosphere is clean , the service is great and food is so fresh!! it comes out within 5 minutes and just tastes phenomenal

10/10 every time. It doesn't matter the weather hot or cold their tofu soup is to die for. I've tried different variations of the soup & they're all good. It also comes with sides. I've only ever had their food to-go, it's secured nicely & still hot for takeout. My favorite lunch spot.

Finally made it here for a weekday dinner and it was quite busy! It was difficult to get a waiter's attention for refills and boxes when we needed even though the restaurant is quite small. - Rice cake casserole: flavorful and had a good amount of ingredients which was good. It was quite large even for 2 to share.- Galbi: Pretty good meat with a good amount of it as well. The banchan was good, a good variety and amount given.

This is my go to Korean food from now on. Love their flat fish sole and I always get 2 orders extra crispy that you actually would be able to chew the side fish bone not the inner bone and pair that with spicy beef soup. The combo Galbi beef and tofu soup is good too. Love the side dishes. Will always recommend this place if anyone is interested in Korean food.

I went on a Sunday night at 8pm and was surprised to see a full house. While we were seated immediately and got a menu, it took 15 mins to order! I had to flag to waitress down as she was just so busy bringing out food or clearing tables for other waiting patrons. I'm glad that they're getting business, but they need more staff to accommodate.I love bibimbap, and their hot stone bowl bibimbap did not disappoint. The bonchons were great too, but we had to flag staff down for refills. They were just too busy to be attentive. I'd come back as it's hard to find good Korean food locally, but I wouldn't expect much service wise.

Does all you can eat bbq sound overwhelming to you? Are you worried about getting the meat sweats? Concerned over the price and not sure if you can get your money's worth in terms of consumption? Well have no fear...JP Seoul Tofu House is here!JP Tofu House is ideal in that it's not all you can eat. You pay for each item -- whether it's appetizers, bibimbap, soup/ramen or grilled meats. Price per dish is between 15-32 (most expensive is the grilled meat obviously). However, their combo meals are where it's at and where you get the most bang for your buck. If you're looking to be cute, save, and take your girl out on a date -- the combo meal is it. It's the perfect amount for two! With the combo, you get choice of grilled meat and a side. Keep in mind that you also get the yummy banchan as an appetizer on the house. *Tip: Order an extra side of rice if you're sharing the combo meal. I've been here many times and my experience has always been consistent. It is family owned and the staff is sweet and very accomodating. On a packed Friday night where all but the corner table is taken (this is typically where the servers would sit for lunch/breaks); they kindly opened up the table and cleared what was on it for us to sit and dine. They're also generous with the banchan and offered a refill of the yummy cucumbers, eggplant and fish cakes. If you're looking for Korean food that won't break the bank and you're too lazy to bbq yourself, JP Tofu House is the place to be.

Excellent dishes, good banchan - fresh and crispy kimchi, delicious daikon, etc. We got the combo meal which was plenty for two people. It can get busy so plan accordingly

1st experience dining in was good. Got takeout this time and portions were so small it was very disappointing especially for prices. Got 3 pieces of small meat in my bibimbap. Skimping on takeout i

The food is absolutely incredible. Reasonably priced, abundant and absolutely delicious.Staff was gracious and attentive. It is a quiet spot located at the end of the strip in a supermarket shopping center, but inside the atmosphere is quaint, we went for lunch, we will definitely go back for dinner.

My better half and I had a hankering for some Korean food. We both love Soft Tofu Soup.We happened to see JP Seoul on Yelp liked the pics and reviews so we gave it a try. It's located in San Leandro in a strip mall. There is plenty of parking. Inside is pretty basic roughly 10-15 tables. This place would be good for a group but keep in mind if a large group is already there my guess is you would be waiting. The service was great. The two ladies working were kind and courteous. They were hustling which I appreciate. Sometimes you just don't see that anymore. We each had a soft tofu stew with beef. I did the combo meal and added the Galbi (Short Ribs) it was a half order so it was perfect for both of us. We also added the Korean sweet spicy wings and I had a large size OB Beer. The stew is great. Just enough spice and really nice flavor. It wasn't overpowering. Soft Tofu soup is so comforting. It comes bubbling (literally) in a crock type pot and they give you a raw egg you crack and drop into the stew yourself. Doing it just adds soMuch goodness to the dish. The Galbi was good not great but still worth it. It could have been a bit more tender. The wings were very tasty and large. They certainly aren't chincy with their wings. Sometimes you get like 6 wings and they are small but the cost is killer. This place isn't like that. I would have preferred a bit more spice. They came out hot and gooey and it definitely went well with the strew. We also had white rice. My better half would die without it. He always eats mine lol....They also give you an assortment of Banchan (Korean Appetizer) I absolutely love them. All in all a great place. As you see in a lotOf my reviews support local businesses!
