This place was great and had good food but not enough for five stars tbh. Some of the food items are great and some are okay and need a bit more seasoning. Sometimes it's hard to get the attention of the staff. Some of the items are a bit pricy.

Came here for lunch on Saturday and there was no line. It's a pretty small place, so i imagine there would be some lines if it was busy. There is a small parking lot right next door which is awesome. We were helped when we walked into the restaurant. We ordered a mixed tempura, chirashi don and a 8 piece nigiri with a California roll (sushi combo). Everything came out pretty quickly. The chirashi bowl came with a bowl of ice on the bottom which is very different but awesome. The sashimi was sliced nice and thin and was very fresh as well. The mixed tempura had the cutest little basket. The tempura was fried perfectly. The sushi combo with 8 piece nigiris sun California roll is a pretty good deal. The nigiri was a good size. Overall everything was great.

I love the presentation for the omakase here. The fish was fresh and each piece tasted amazing. We love to visit here for our date night when we want a special treat. We didn't leave feeling super full but for the price and quality, it was definitely worth it! The staff here are also super nice and accommodating!

3 of us went on a Tuesday night at 7 PM. The restaurant was half full but food wasn’t served until almost 8 PM as obviously the restaurant prioritizes to-go orders. Only one sushi chef and one waitress working their a** off to get things done. Will not go again.

This place was just a happenstance for me and i really like the ambience right of the bat. It wasnt crowded and that's how i like it.Food: i tried the tempura udon, tamago, inari and all were amazing. I tried the cold sake sampler and was satisfied enough.Service: the staff were very polite and professional, they helped us choose right food for us and the food came out in the right order and on time.I don't eat meat and so I've already had all the vegetarian option they could offer, otherwise I'd definitely go back to this place. Or may be I'll just go for sake and some appetizers.

The best sushi place in San Leandro. Their sushi dinner and omakase are great value. Also, they serve real wasabi. They also have really good ramen. The only thing is that their outside pandemic seating area is quite an eyesore. Also, you can smell the dumpster from the inside of the restaurant when they have the windows open. Otherwise I would give 5/5.

I can't believe this restaurant has been here for 5 years and I never noticed it! It is a bit hidden on Marina blvd, but luckily they have plenty of parking. It is very small inside but it is cute and compact. I went on a weekday for dinner around 5:30 and despite there only being one other table of customers, service took a while. My friend and I ordered our rolls and it took about 45 minutes for our rolls to come out. Despite that, they were worth the wait and really good. I loved the lion queen, the seared scallops on top were perfect. The honey walnut roll was also very yummy.

Was recommended this spot for date night. There was one server when we arrived (right at opening) and she was nice, she came by making sure our water was refilled and took away plates as we finished them and as she brought us out the rest of the orders nothing to write home about but she did her thing. The food we ordered for the most part was really good but with some minor complaints and one big thing. The goods, the sashimi and Lion queen were delicious. The wagyu and uni nigiri was also delicious just the cuts of the wagyu weren't as clean (nit picky) for the price. The omakase has a great chef choice selection of nigiri's for the most part I enjoyed them all but found that some of the cuts of fish still had some bones in them. The temperature was on the warmer side and the shrimp weren't sweet like other spots you'd get them from and just tasted more like raw white frozen shrimp.

I was recommended this place and oh boy this restaurant hit the spot for one of the freshest seafood I have had in a while! Being a group, we were able to try bunch of different things. We had different assorted sashimi, uni, and ikura uni box. All of them were super fresh, tasty, and absolutely delicious. We tried Black Garlic Oil Ramen - flavors were phenomenal! Broth, pork, and fried garlic in it made it super delicious. Totally recommend this if you are garlic lover. Service was great as well. We were well taken care of and they repeatedly kept checking on us throughout our dinner. Over all great sushi/sashimi spot. Highly recommend this place.

Friendly service. Good portions. Fresh fish. Nice place.Oh to address other reviewers observations on temperature - the sushi was cool to warmish, which is how its supposed to be so that theres some slight fat rendering. You dont want it too cold,

After a day of adulting and momming it dawned on me. I've only had a protein shake many hours ago. I'm ravenous. I decide to place my order via DoorDash then changed my mind after all the fees. I call the restaurant to place order for pickup. Before hanging up I ask my total. Glad I did. The price differed by $6. DoorDash says $21.99 and over the phone it was $27.43. I opted for DoorDash since the price was very close to pickup vs delivery. Why drive in that case? My bento box hit the spot. The short ribs were very tender and juicy. My salmon was perfectly grilled, although they forgot the teriyaki sauce. Luckily I have some here at home. The skin was on the bottom. I pulled that off. I only consumed half and am now full. Haha!! I'll have the rest tomorrow for lunch. Although this time I did delivery I have been in person. I would say there's about 6-9 tables primarily seating parties of four super for two as well. For larger parties tables can be combined. You can also see them making the sushi at the sushi bar. There's a handful of seats there. Oh, my son is in love with the chicken karage.
