We were really excited to try them out based on all the reviews, but they said cash only. Left disappointed
Really great spot, highly recommend! Lots of vegetarian options and everything was so good! Staff was very friendly and super sweet. Will be back again

Highly recommend!! 10/10 for quality of food, service, & ambiance.
I got the steak pho, pork chop with fried rice, and spring rolls, and they were all so delicious! All the dishes had balanced flavors that tasted homemade and not overly salty or greasy.
The service was also so warm and attentive. The owners actually take the time to chat and get to know you, so it really adds a personal touch and makes the whole place feel welcoming.
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Vietnamese food in San Leandro!

It is so quiet and has no traffic, the server parked herself at the table next to us facing us. It was weird

An authentic Vietnamese restaurant in downtown San Leandro. Food was flavorful and served hot in pretty good portions. Bo Kho noodle soup was fantastic! Lovely atmosphere too. Plenty of parking spaces right at the side of the resto. Too bad they increased their prices though. Still, would definitely come back!

This is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition! I went there on a whim during work. It wasn’t too busy which was nice. The yellow curry was the tastiest curry I think I’ve ever had. Not too heavy on the flavor, but no bland/watery flavor. The fried rice had slightly burnt pieces which I actually LOVED—it elevated the flavor. Won’t be the last they’ll see of me!
My order as vegan review Budda Roll(2). Plenty large. Okay but not a big fan of sauce. House rice clay pot. Decent amount of noodles on top. Can seem a bit oily. I did enjoy it but wish for more veggies. Tofu fried strips. Ginger shot of flavor. Hot tea Pleasant service from a young server setup in the middle of the restaurant for table service and with a computer. Odd location. Only people there till an older Asian couple arrived at 18:30 on a Friday night. Good for non vegan dining partner.

The food is great! We are a mixed group (meat and vegan eaters). They have food for all that is so good. At many restaurants meatless dishes are just not good!! At the Lotus They are great. I love the Lemon Grass pork (i eat meat). Prices are very good.
Lotus Leaf is simply delicious! You’re getting quality, home-cooked food every time. My partner, girlfriend, and I have been regulars ever since we discovered them last month, and they never disappoint.
Their chicken egg rolls with sweet sauce are incredible, and the pork rice paper rolls were so good we ordered them twice in one weekend. The pho is perfect for a rainy night, comforting and well-balanced without being overly salty. Their curry is rich, flavorful, and expertly done. And the Thai tea? My partner might have an unhealthy addiction to it—especially since they offer it with coconut milk. Game changer.
I honestly can’t rave enough about this place! Highly recommend!
Lotus Leaf is a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant with generous portions and consistently fresh, flavorful food.
Their noodles are a standout, always cooked to perfection.
They also offer great vegetarian options, making it a great choice for all diners. Whether you're craving a classic Vietnamese dish or a delicious meat-free meal, this place never disappoints. Highly recommended!
They have an entirely vegetarian menu that has a large variety of dishes that they will make completely vegan. I ordered bean rolls and a vermicelli plate. All of it was good. I was able to dine with my husband, who isn't a vegetarian, and he liked his food too. So this place is a good place to take friends who aren't vegan or vegetarian. The staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful.
Literally my fave place to eat in SL! cozy lighting, no music, good prices & yummy food & nice staff. :) I always get the tofu & mushroom banh mi and thai iced tea which you can get with coconut milk instead of half and half if ur lactose intolerant!
