As the New Yorker I have to say these bagels are just okay. The bagel size is a little on the small side the texture does not have that quintessential outer crust that an excellent bagel should, the selection was somewhat lacking and the smear that they put on the bagel was positively anemic, both in flavor and in quantity. If you're desperate for a bagel it'll do, but it would not be my first selection.

Place could use some upkeep. Conveniently located. Wasn’t too happy that the staff made a mistake and charged $5 for a plain bagel with cream cheese when its price is$4.50 which is still high. Oh well, guess she tipped herself.

It’s a quaint hole in the wall with a good selection of bagels and sandwiches. There’s an outdoor table overlooking the San Leandro creek. It’s nice to eat at.

It's the best bagels around in a no frills environment. Run by the same family for decades and still reasonably priced in a world of expensive bagels. Their everything bagel is truly the best, absolutely perfect. Lots of bagel sandwich options for both breakfast and lunch. They've got coffee, a good cold drink selection and some pastries as well.

Popped in here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised at how GOOD their bagels are! I ordered the #3 with an Asiago cheese bagel, and it was made to perfection. The bagel was fresh, the egg was soft, and the bacon had the right amount of crisp to it. Definitely coming back here!

Been going there for a long time now from the breakfast bagels to the fresh sandwiches to the pizza bagel to the bagel dog's that's one place I can say I can mention and all the family wants something or to go so hint hint a good time I'd before 12noon enjoy I still am.

I've been coming here over 2 years now. At least twice a month. Food and service are always good. A little pricey for what you get but still good. It is an old spot and could use some remodeling. Be sure to get there early because it fills up fast!

The owner is friendly. They make pretty decent sandwiches. Prices are pretty decent. They take credit/debit cards and cash. No parking onsite but plenty of street parking. My only complaint is that it’s hard to understand what she is saying and she seems to have trouble understanding what is being asked too.
