People working here are friendly, really old-fashioned friendly. The food is absolutely the best! This is definitely a hidden gem of the East Bay; once you come and enjoy the delicious catfish and chicken, you’ll keep coming back. I guarantee it!! Oh, did I mention the lemon cake? Outstanding!!
I am from Los Angeles and I moved to Stockton and there are no places to get any real food. Until I find this place their fried catfish is something to die for, I will drive a hour just to get some real food from this place love it
The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and gave us free gumbo samples! Hole in the wall kind of vibe makes you feel like you found something special. All the food was amazing, we were all stealing off each other's plates. We'll be back!
