This food chain has been popping up all across The Bay. I tried a gyro a while back and wasn't wowed. Today, i saw an advertisement for a gyro bowl and it looked pretty good so I came to give it a try. The restaurant interior was very clean btw! I ordered the beef/lamb bowl with extra chicken. The bowl came with a hearty amount of meat, i was just being greedy by adding the extra. 10/10! Fresh tomatoes, fresh cucumbers! Perfect lettuce! That will be my go too! Not interested in trying anything else. It hits every spot.

2 Stars for the restaurant's cleanliness, friendly staff & baklava. I love Greek food so I was so happy this placed opened up down the street from my work. The restaurant is very clean. The staff were all super friendly and thanked me several times for coming in. Ordered: Beef/Lamp Gyro Pita combo with a side salad, balaclava, and a Diet Pepsi I'm not a fan of french fries so I asked for none in my gyro but the kind lady Jasmine asked if I wanted them on the side so I said "Sure Why Not." Over all the gyro was good. Every bite had the perfect amount of sauce. Tomato inside was mushy so I picked it out. Not sure if this place is like a fast food version of Greek food, but I've actually had better gyros at a FOOD COURT in an outlet mall in Nashville, TN and at the county fair. The baklava was sweet and delicious. The French fries reminded me of fries from In-N-Out. I'm not a fan of In-N-Out so I ate 4 to taste them. They were very salty. Added ketchup on them and ehhh - gross, didn't make it any better and threw the rest away. The big disappointment was the side salad. When I opened the small box it looked so pretty. Good amount of cheese on top, but as I started to mix it there was a crap load of red onions in this thing! I picked them all out, ate a couple of bites and threw the salad away. Would I come back? No I wouldn't. For $22.04 I'll take my appetite & money somewhere else

One of my favorite restaurants. Variety of food.Parking: Parking can be difficult. If going for dinner, plan on a late lunch early dinner.

Im glad they opened one in this area right by my office! I love the food, like whatever you order i guarantee it will be delicious! I love the salad it's just so fresh and healthy. But i love the bowls with chicken and extra cheese please!! The service is quick and the staff.. they're.. nice. They do their thing. The place itself is very quiet. Its a good spot to meet up with a friend and catch up. You are surrounded by food spots, you could have lunch and then grab ice cream from down the street. I live this place.

The pita bread is so good, a little fluffy, great taste, and really soft. Def recommend! going back for more and next time im going to ask the cook to sneak me a little more in my box .

Most of people commented on the food but I was very impressed by how this casher's attention to the cleanliness of her restaurant. In the 20 minis I was sitting here eating my salad, which was yummy and healthy, I saw this cashier wiped the tables immediately after the guests left, straightened the chairs/tables, and even wiped the tiles walls. I have to say, cleanliness is an important criteria for the overall guest experience in a restaurant. I have yet seen a fast food restaurant staff being so attentive to the cleanliness of the space until today. This woman deserves a raise as employees like her are rare these days.

I wanted to like this place but the ambiance is terrible. Music so loud you can't enjoy your meal. I shouldn't have to listen to ads while eating out. I should say the food is pretty good. Basically a Chipotle formula, but Greek.

My girlfriend and I, residents of San Leandro, are always excited to explore and support new dining spots in our area. Our recent visit to this restaurant marked our first experience there, and it was nothing short of delightful. We were immediately struck by the cleanliness of the establishment, complemented by a team of friendly and attentive staff. Both of our meals were enjoyable, and the pricing felt quite reasonable for the quality provided. We didn't find anything to complain about and are eagerly looking forward to our next visit soon.

Nick the Greek is its own vibe and it's something that I appreciate because it's very unique. I really enjoyed the food and it felt very healthy while also tasting delicious. I like that they have a lot of vegetables in their bowl. And the spice added on top was the right amount. The staff who took our order was very friendly. They weren't super busy so she dropped off our food to our table.

Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the employee but outstanding customer service from the young lady with curly hair & facial piercings!! Made my whole day a 10/10. They were so sweet & didn’t make it seem like I was a burden for being there like most places I’ve been to do. Very kind hearted & beautiful! Will be coming back & recommending my friends/family to this location as well. Thank you so much for giving me this lovely experience!

Over priced Greek fast food? Do yourself a favor and go to a real Greek dine in restaurant.

Normally I love Nick the Greek - I got hooked after going to the one in Union City (which has never failed me after several visits) and was excited to see another pop up in San Leandro. It's got good selection and good food, but first try here so far I asked for fries on the side (I always do/did at the Union City location) and I got less than a handful of a few dried up little guys haphazardly throw in there. The chicken also ended up pretty bland. All in all a complete 180 difference from the Union Landing location. I also ordered a beef/lamb plate with Nick's fries (a $3 extra charge) for my partner and the second photo shows how it's just a few plain fries (where's all the sauce and condiments shown on the menu for Nick's fries, honestly?). Mistakes were made with the add-on decision, oof. The onions also smell and taste funky like they were stored with something they shouldn't have been (something sweet?) which was not a great experience at all. Hopefully this location does better in the future since I'd like to be able to frequent this convenient location if possible. Otherwise this is the most just-below-average I've had with a Greek place in a very long time. UPDATE: I'm adding this a couple weeks later after waffling on the idea of it but finally deciding to put it down - all night I was feeling ill and my stomach was bloated so painfully that it was a misrable night. Nothing I took relieved any of it and I just had to ride it out till the next morning. Definitely can't see myself confidently going back to this location.
