Getting some sauce from this place is like pulling teeth from a tiger, and it comes with a side of attitude. I hope you realize you're losing long time customers over some Sriacha.

The wait time can be long if the restaurant is busy. However, the place is pretty spacious so you can fit larger groups. Overall, the bbq combo was fine. The galbi beef rib was marinated deliciously for a fast food joint that I was surprised. The marinate of the pork and chicken had too much soy sauce so that's what you mainly taste and the macaroni salad was thrown in with the rice so it can make a mess if you don't want to eat your salad with your rice.

I ordered the seafood and chicken combo I didn't receive any sauce so I asked for a sauce I told her I didn't receive one she ask what I ordered I told her and she said no sauce comes with my order I would have to buy it, No I'm not and I will not be returning I'll eat this dry plate of food because I have already paid for

Called in an order, which took some time. When I got there 10 minutes later, the food was ready. Definitely below-average Hawaiian food. The beef was dry, chewy, and flavorless. Mac salad was limp and lacked flavor. How do you screw up Mac salad? It's a Hawaiian staple.Service was rude. I couldn't really hear her because of her mask and the glass separator. Guess I took too long with the credit card machine because she asked "You speak English or Chinese?". Dumb a$$ - I just asked for my order in English. Very rude. There's many other Hawaiian food places where you can get better food without being insulted.

Rating for one star is for cleanliness this place is pilau, filthy and needs a deep clean. We ordered our food and I decided not to let my grandson eat his 2 musubi's. Pictures say a lot and if the front end looks like this imagine the back end. Owners need to take more responsibility and keep up this place. I can't believe people go here to eat.

Was working in Oakland, and stopped here for some lunch. The food was very good. The service was excellent. A** for the ambiance, it was a nice clean well kept establishment. The selections I chose were well prepared, the house ranch and Teriyaki sauce were good as well. A definite must try if in the area.

I love Ohana Hawaiiam BBQ. The food is delicious and delightful. All combos come with sides (macaroni salad and rice). My favorites are seafood and no. 1 BBQ and beef mix. It was not expensive and great plates. I'll come back soon.

Waited 40min for an online order, only for them to leave it behind the counter and let it start to get cold and soggy. no message or announcement or apology nothing.

I was looking at the window sign "coconut soft serve." Not true, they don't serve it any more. Wish they would take it down. Today was hot 85 degrees and coconut soft serve would hit the spot. Got the three meat bbq combo. Big slab of chicken with skin. 1 strip of rib, meaty! The beef was disappointing. Dry and almost like beef jerky. I appreciate not much fat in any of their meats. You actually get meat. 1 scoop of macaroni was okay and 2 scoop of rice. The best part was the very sweet cabbage on the bottom. You got to have good eyes to see the menu above the cashier. I'm sorry for those who might need glasses. I had to go back outside to look at their menu on the window.

i go to ono hawaiian bbq most of the time. so i decided to try this place. their chicken katsu's delicious! it nearly tastes identical to the chicken katsu from Sushi House in Alameda. i'll be trying more of their stuff in the future. reason for 3 stars is that the mexican/latina employee doesn't speak english. i asked her when my chicken katsu be ready she didnt understand what i was saying to her & told me she didn't speak english. also the other employee (asian lady) was a bit rude to me as well when i asked when my chicken katsu be ready for me. both said employees need more training when interacting/dealing with customers.

The food is just OK... but they constantly do not give you the sauces. I ordered 2 chicken combos katsu/BBQ chicken not Katsu sauce was in the bag. If you order online or in house to go... check everything. They try there best not to send it with the order. There's not much that makes me upset... Picking up something to go and its wrong or not complete just irritates me to no end!

Chicken was dry and lacked flavor. The beef was fatty and cheap quality . This was my least favorite Hawaiian bbq spot
