So, while at work my associate wanted to treat me for lunch on my Birthday way past(Nov). Found this place trying to eat well. The best decision. It's more of a catering eatery, and everything is as delicious as it looks on yelp photos. We each shared some of our food to taste the various toppings and meats. The best chicken I have ever had at a take out/restaurant. A must if you want comfort food that's healthy. A bit $$$$. But we'll worth it! Bon Appetit!

I really love Papaito Rotisserie! It's my go-to place when I work in San Leandro. The service is excellent, everyone is really friendly. I've eaten there a few times and so far my favorite is the Casserole Mushrooms. The mushrooms always have the perfect texture and that yummy, creamy sauce is delightfully flavorful. Like a chunky cream of mushroom soup. A very close second is the Cheesy Street Corn Dip with Plantain Chips. That dish is addictive. I'm not supposed to eat dairy but I can't help myself, I just order it whenever I go, lol. I like the flavor of the sauce that's mixed with the corn underneath all that yummy cheese. I also really love the smoky corn salad. Great texture with the perfect amount of heat. So far I've only ordered sides, but next time I'm at the office I do plan on ordering the rotisserie chicken. It looks fantastic.

Food was decent but the sauce in the lomo pa patio was a bit too strong/salty ... by the end of the dish was a bit overwhelming

When those hot plantains arrive, and a portal to heaven opens up...I can't find words... Always found the staff to be friendly and the wonderful noting of Gluten Free and Vegan options is reassuring... worth navigating the parking lot to enjoy food from Papaito.

Has to be under new management. This place used to be a gem. Now. It's a nightmare. My family and I used to be regulars here. We've TRIED eating here 3 times. Last night was our third strike. Every time we wait 20 min in line to order we get to the top just for the same woman to tell us whatever we order will be 50 min!! Since when???? We ate here regularly with the best service and our food would be our hot and fresh in 10-15 min. We will not be coming here anymore.

Meh. I was craving some beef ribs, so I ordered the rib (it says singular and the pictures online were of one big singular rib) and potatoes. The rib was actually ribs -- either one cut into four pieces, or perhaps a short rib. Anyway, they were tough and one was pretty much all fat. Beef ribs are a low and slow thing, and these felt like a high and quick cook, which means there was nothing tender about them. The potatoes were also pretty mushy.

Tried this place based on the yelp reviews and glad I did. While waiting for my boyfriend to get his tattoo done I stopped by and grab us lunch. I ordered their popular dishes - half roasted chicken, lomo papaito with a side of mushrooms. The chicken was cooked perfectly and moist, tasty mushrooms and lomo papaito all delicious. Will definitely be back to try other dishes as well. The place was a bit hard to find at first since hidden behind the large building. We were hungry so didn't take any pics. A must try for sure and my boyfriend said he will come back just for the food.

Oh my heavens!!!!! I'm so upset we didn't know about this place long ago!!! Amazing delicious food. No complaints at all (highly unusual for me). Can't wait to come back and try more side dishes! The chicken was moist and juicy. The lomo was delicious. Carrots, Brussels sprouts and mushrooms were off the charts. Yum!!!! Don't wait. Go now!!

Visiting from Anaheim California for the weekend for Bottlerock concert. After getting off the plane we were looking for some wholesome savory Latin food. What can I say the service here is great. The food is delicious a must go to is the Lomo Papaito with their Smokey Corn Salad. The Herb Roasted Chicken was packed with flavor. Amazing food!!! Wish we had a place just as good like this back home. Salud!

Impressive menu with healthy choices . Fresh and delicious their food is a treat. The staff is professional and kind. I am old with a fractured spine and they brought the food to me as I waited in handicap parking. Everything was packaged delicately and professionally and by Sharing the order of food (chicken, potatoes and Brussels sprouts) I have introduced family to the awesomeness of the yummy food. Don't judge a book by its cover. Papaito Rotisserie is located with its coffee shop buddy and shares the same space in a small cluster of office buildings. On a Wednesday early evening, there were no other customers, an empty parking lot, and maybe 1-2 staff. Overall, slightly eerie, but that's ok. Glad to have stayed and tried many items such as their chicken ensalada, herb-roasted rotisserie chicken, the pork dish, and coffee flan. Everything was delicious! My favorites were the rotisserie chicken (the chicken skin was crispy and the meat was juicy and tender), the pork dish was similar, and the flan was the perfect finish. The chicken salad was good and definitely very healthy. Prices are great, as well as portion sizes. The service was great too. Credit cards accepted. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. Located not too far from downtown San Leandro and BART station. Also, the menu isn't overwhelming as there are about 10 items total. I'll visit again in the near future! #26/2021

Tastes like home cooked food! Basic atmosphere but lovely prepared food, well priced etc. Will definitely return when I'm in the neighborhood. The chicken was really so juicy and the brussels were perfect in their simplicity.
