I eat at Pelton Cafe often with friends and family. The staff are always very friendly. Super accommodating. The restaurant is clean. Some mornings there's a line and you have to sign in on a piece of paper. Never had to wait too long. They're great at refilling your coffee.

Service is fast & efficient. Food is delicious - classic diner food. Their sweet cream pancakes are so good!

Good food, great service, very welcoming. The breakfast food in particular is really well done.

Just had food delivered via DoorDash. Ordered a mushroom omelette with potatoes and french toast. Omelette, the potatoes, and the french toast have 0 seasoning and taste. I don't know how its possible to do that with french toast. Food is edible, but wondering why I ordered from this restaurant instead of making a tasteless meal myself.

Love everything we ordered most especially the steak ranchero! First time at this place and I enjoyed my experience. Service was fast; place is cute (especially if you like antiques) and server was really nice.

Tucked away in the cozy corner of Pelton shopping center in downtown San Leandro, this charming little restaurant offers a delightful dining experience. Despite its modest size, waiting for a table is rarely a lengthy affair, even when they're bustling with customers. My visits here have consistently been met with warm service and breakfasts that are both delicious and filling. It's become one of my favorite spots for a satisfying breakfast when the craving strikes.

Pelton cafe is one of those places that makes a city. San Leandro wouldn't be San Leandro without this latinx owned restaurant. For as long as I can remember this restaurant has been around. I used to come here with friends after school when I was in high school and I have fond memories of this place. I went here again for the first time in two years last sunday and I'm so happy to see that business is still booming and their food is still as delicious as ever. Their 1/3 burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had. It's juicy, well seasoned, and packed with veggies to balance the thick meat patty. The fries that accompany the burger were fried to a crispy perfection! I love the way Pelton cafe makes their fries, it's delicious! I decided to order a side of corn beef hash as well and alone it was nothing special but then I put it in the burger and it was like I had an epiphany! Combining the corn beef hash and the burger was a genius idea, I would recommend it if you like corn beef hash. Although it was packed our waitress would come by and check how we were doing and to refill our waters. We didn't feel neglected by the staff at all. I'm pretty sure I'll be coming here more often now that I'm back in the East Bay.

I've been coming here since I was little and it's never really change, I like it because it's very dependable and it's good but not the best. I still come for the nostalgia and the great customer service, always fast and friendly. Skillet 9/10 Pancakes 8/10 Sausages 7/10 Orange juice 8/10 Coffee 7/10 Overall I'll give this spot a 4 because it has consistently been the same and always friend/quick service.

Cozy Cafe, Friendly Vibes This is a charming spot with log cabin aloha vibes - a cafe worth checking out. The old wooden interior gives a cozy feel. The friendly staff made the experience even better! Food rundown: The tuna sandwich was meh, basic but not a showstopper. The Monterey Chicken sandwich, on the other hand, was bomb, loaded with bacon - a win! The tasty Cinnamon raisin French toast portions are on the smaller side. On to the quirks - parking's a puzzle on weekends, and a 15-minute wait for a table is a reality check. Sadly, you have to stand outside while you wait; an app or some seating could fix that. Once seated, our sunny corner booth turned into a heat fest - shades on those windows would do wonders. Service had a few blips - long waits and a forgotten request. Despite the hiccups, this San Leandro spot is worth a visit. A cozy cafe near home? Count us in for a return trip!

Definitely low quality takeout. The sides i ordered were missing. The material I got is not fine. The portions are small. The "fruit cup" had only salty peaches. As stated, the fruit tasted very salty/garlickyReading other comments . It shows that they steal your side order by not doing it. Dog ish.

Love a breakfast diner! The hollandaise here has no flavor, so pass that by, but the omelet was solid otherwise. Nice seasoning on the home fries.
