Not much of choices from the menu. The food just fine nothing. I feel the food is not authentic. The price is slightly high.

I came here after getting a craving for a Vietnamese coffee. Apparently my body needed rocket fuel IYKYK.I was so happy when I heard the woman using a shaved iced machine to get ice for my drink. Real coffee drinkers know that the type of ice can make a drink next level. It did just that. This is an amazing traditional Vietnamese coffee that's super creamy and sweet. This is definitely a no frills restaurant where you order at the counter than go to your table. There is a $10 minimum credit fee , which is why I've taken off a star. If I'm going for a quick coffee- I never have cash and I don't want to buy things I don't want just to use my card. The manager waived the fee for me after I told her I didn't want anything else, but she said next time I'd have to hit the card minimum.I didn't try the food, but the pho looks good. I feel as thought $15 for chicken pho is pretty steep. I am very nosey so I peeped in the kitchen and I was happy to see fresh chicken leg quarters being thoroughly cleaned. Not a super big deal, but the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and there was no lock.I'll come back here (when I have cash!)

Small and unassuming place, but great pho ga!Came here for lunch. They are in the plaza with a grocery market just down the street from the church I used to attend. There is plenty of parking, but it can get busy due to the other stores + grocery market. They have a fairly simple menu with various options of chicken pho. You can change the options of noodle type from regular pho noodles to egg noodles to vermicelli and more. I opted for the number 1 which is a regular pho ga (chicken pho). The pho broth is really light, as expected from a chicken based broth as opposed to a beef based one. However, it was really flavorful. The chicken was really tender and went well with the ginger scallion oil that they provide. Service was very nice and friendly. They provide a cup of hot tea when you come in. There's also a self service tea and water station.Overall, a great place for some chicken pho. Would recommend!

Second location and if you are looking for delicious chicken pho or noodles I'd recommend pho ga 88. The place has plenty of tables and the staff is very customer oriented. Menu has something for everyone. I prefer the noodles which is my dish while the fried chicken with rice is wow. Note you have to wait a bit but it is well with the wait for it.

Chicken was good. Fresh. Ginger oil is a bit different, blended.Soup decent, smelled good.Hofun could be more chewy.

Excellent won ton soup, they get everything right:* Won Tons are chicken and shrimp. Generous amount (6-7), big and juicy with thin wrapper, firm bite and good consistency all the way through. Best won ton I've had in the East Bay* As you'd expect from a pho ga place (but can't take for granted) broth is excellent, rich and savory chicken soup. Simple but not too simple.* Egg noodles are thin type, not much to say but my favorite* Some greens would be nice like baby bok choyI also had egg rolls which were good, served with 2 interesting well make dipping sauces.Service was very friendly and welcoming.Dining atmosphere is very casual no nonsense, clean, locals type atmosphere.Overall thrilled at the quality of this dish, it's a little drive from East O but easily the best won ton soup I've found in these parts so I'll be back.

Great pho place. I only wish they were closer to home. The food quality is always on point, food comes out fast when dine in. I ordered for take-out first time today and didn’t open the bag until I got home, and again their to-go packaging is legit. Everything was kept warm, ready to eat. Liked those little siracha packets come in real handy. Keep it up!

This place is such a hidden gem! This is my go to spot for chicken noodle. I always get the #5 boneless chicken with go fun noodle and egg rolls. They give a good portion and the broth is always flavorful. I always get extra ginger and scallion dip. The egg rolls are always fresh and crispy. The service is quick and they are super fast with everything.

If you're having a hankering for steamed chicken, you may want to consider stopping at this Vietnamese spot in a nondescript strip mall deep in the residential part of San Leandro west of 880. I had a dickens of a time navigating my way to it, and as you can guess, I don't like to expose my dickens. But found it I did, and I saw all kinds of bowls and rice plates with steamed chicken on the menu (photo: bit.ly/41CevOg). They had just a few customers, regulars presumably, so they were happy to see me. I decided to go with their signature item, the $12.99 Pho Ga (Children Pho), because it was my first visit. There were variations on it, but there was no English translation readily available so I didn't bother asking. The broth was clean tasting, and they chopped a lot of bone-in chicken to make the bowl quite substantial (photo: bit.ly/3NdDt24). It was a nice touch to serve their House Ginger and Scallion Sauce (photo: bit.ly/422o20R). Friendly spot, worth the trek.FOOD - 4 stars...worthy pho with plenty of chicken if you don't mind the bonesAMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...fairly spartan but cleanSERVICE - 4 stars...friendlyTOTAL - 4 stars...steamed chicken anyone?RELATED - Exploring this part of the East Bay?
