Well balance diet. Lots of vegetables. 1scope of rice and No MSG in the food & soup. Meat is plenty. What else can you expect from a takeout. NO MSG is the BEST you can get these years. Lots of Asian run restaurants are using MSG, intensively.Way to go !!!!!!!!

First off - they only have take out. This is fine but this should be advertised. It says Dine-in right here on Google. We took two cars out here so everyone could fit in our party and then had to drive all the way back home to eat it. If we had known there was no seating inside we could have just had someone pick up the food and all the kids playing at home instead of dragging everyone over there and back for nothing.As someone else mentioned the ambiance is lacking. It’s pretty messy and has tons of boxes and stuff. The service is fine. It’s hard to tell since they just take your order make it and hand it to you but it was fine.We ordered: Wow roll, Basil salmon roll, Oakland A’s tray (spicy tuna roll, crunchy shrimp roll and California roll), Dragon roll and a salmon lover poke bowl.My favorites were the crunchy shrimp roll and the Dragon roll. I think we all liked the dragon roll the best. The sushi was good and presented nicely. I am guessing if the service was good and we could have sat down we might give it a 5 but it’s not the same when you don’t have the little ramekins to mix your wasabi and soy sauce in to dip your sushi in.I would come again but I would just send one car instead of two and pick it up. Then I would bring ramekins to my mom’s since she doesn’t have any.

Ordered a poke bowl for delivery with three scoops of fish. When it arrived I thought it looked short on the fish. Six small cubes of fish? Apparently their idea of a scoop is two tiny pieces of fish. I'm assuming if you order there you get a decent portion as you are watching them. However, this seems to be yet another place that purposefully screws over folks who order delivery.

"Poke Star Sushi" is located in the Marina Faire Shopping Center in San Leandro, CA. It's at the corner of Doolittle Drive & Fairway, next door to Subway Sandwiches. I tried this place on a weeknight just before closing. In fact, when I walked in the guy said they were closed. But he said if I ordered fast, they could quickly make it. So I scanned the menu, and I decided to get the- "Passion Salmon Roll" and a "Dragon Roll." As they made my rolls, they told me all about their business. He strongly suggested I order ahead of time using their website and come pickup my food. Those rolls were good. The ingredients were fresh and had no stale fishy smell. The presentation for takeout was neat and organized. This place is takeout or delivery only, as there's no dining room available. I don't know if they set up tables outside in the daytime.So why 4-stars? Because the restaurant looks untidy. The dining room is being used as a storage area, and there's stock everywhere. The restroom is not available to customers, so why not partition off that part of the restaurant so people can't see it? I'm not being picky! If a restaurant looks messy, that affects a customer's expectations. If you order delivery, this doesn't affect you.So, in summary, Poke Star serves good sushi rolls, has good service, but needs to tidy up their restaurant. I drove by today and got super excited to get poke for lunch… until I walked in the door. There was a strong odor of old fish, and the entire dining area was covered in boxes and trash. I could handle the mess, but I’m not going to risk eating raw fish that is old enough to give off an odor. I turned around and went right back out the door. Maybe their food is actually pretty good (based on prior ratings), but I wasn’t going to risk it. They had doordash and post mates signs, so I’m guessing a lot of their business is delivery.
I love sushi and saw this place, so I thought I would try it. It is like fast food sushi. The quality was not good, with mushy rice and smashed tuna.

I ordered pick up online.The price I agreed to pay was higher than I noticed and turns out they automatically added $5 tip without even ask or confirm first.Just for this reason I won’t recommend it, and definitely won’t coming back. I’m using my own devices to submit my order online with service fee and they can’t just add tip anonymously. Ridiculous.

Lack of options, flavors did not work together, we ordered two different bowls and they were both incredibly sweet,We tried to eat them but it was just too sweet ...This is the 7th poke place we have tried and we will not be back ?(And the only one I would not recommend)On a positive note the staff were very friendly and we got our order very quick.There was no build your own poke bowl option on the menu that we ordered from or we would have both ordered that to avoid this exact situation...

Ordered sushi yesterday - very good and fresh! I don't think I saw any seating for dine in - everyone was ordering to go ( which is fine ). The customer service was good! Staff were receptive and acknowledged you when you walked in. I would definitely come back to order food.
