This is my first time to try Hainanese chicken rice. It tastes good. The food is served very quickly and the ladies at the front desk are very talkative. The service is pretty good. Don’t expect the service of a 5-star hotel for this kind of fast food. It takes 20 minutes to eat. It’s nice to leave as soon as you’re done and save time?

The food is ok, but the service and the portions are not.
We placed the order through the store’s online system. We arrived by the time the online app said it was ready to pick up. They gave us parts of our order only. When we arrived home, we realized that we didn’t have the full order of food, and we had to go back to the store.
When we opened the food, we felt their description differed from what we received. The description said there was a quarter portion of Hainan chicken, and I assumed I should see half of the chicken. But instead, I only saw a small box of chicken, which is shown in the picture.
I don’t think I will come back again.

We stumbled upon this restaurant that serves Cantonese cuisine, and we really enjoyed it! The portions are generous for the price. We'll definitely be making it a regular stop in Hayward. I ordered the pig foot combo and my husband had chui zhou brined free range duck. I like the duck better~

Bad review, extremely bad review! The products are so mediocre, there is no service and you are forced to tip ? A small cup of lemon tea costs 4.5, please go and see what kind of products in milk tea shops dare to sell for 4.5. Too exaggerated?

I usually don't leave negative reviews for restaurants, but the service at this establishment was exceptionally poor. The staff were extremely rude, and they even argued with customers

A smaller restaurant with limited seats. I came here few times already. Hainan chicken is above average, but the rice is so so. Other dishes are OK.

Daylight robbery!! Tip is a must otherwise they get hostile!
They did the basic service, brought me the wrong food and had some green onion in my food even though i said no green onion. After i paid my bill, they told me 'the amount i charged just now was without a tip. You need to add tip.' i said no, i am not going to, both of the staff got very hostile and asked 'why not? Why not? You come to eatery, you always tip'
I then ask 'is it compulsory? '
She said 'its a culture'
I asked again 'is tipping a must?'
She said 'you always tip for service!'
At that point everyone was looking at me, I didn't want to make a scene, gave them a 15% tip and left. This is daylight robbery.

The food was fine, but my family was not satisfied with the tips charge. It was a take-out order, my dad did not enter "tips"when the transaction was processing, but the staff rejected to refund the tips to him. That's unacceptable and hurt our heart.?

My recent visit to Hainan special chicken left me utterly disgusted and outraged. The level of service I received was not just incompetent but shockingly disrespectful. After settling the bill, I encountered outright rudeness from the waiter when attempting to adjust the tip I had left. To add insult to injury, the owner herself intervened, insisting that tip adjustments were only possible with cash payment. Furthermore, I was informed of an alleged issue with the tip I provided, which is completely unacceptable. It's abundantly clear that this establishment has no concept of basic customer respect. Even the owner's parting comment suggesting I "bring the food home next time" was a tone-deaf insult, given the circumstances.I refuse to subject myself to such appalling treatment again and will actively discourage anyone I know from patronizing this unprofessional and disrespectful establishment.Avoid Hainan special chicken like the plague.

The food is really greasy don’t waste your time and the service is really bad.
Menu have pictures to better illustrate the items which makes orderings easy especially for 1st time patrons. Service is fast and quick, they bring you hot tea right after you sit down. This is a eat and go sort of place, not great to chat or mingle. Parking is super easy even on the weekends. The staff speaks Cantonese, mandarin and English as well. Portions are generous as well.
