Parking: One row of parking. A little tight but manageable.

Very well kept and accessible spot. They serve generous portions and for reasonable rates. I enjoyed the menu very much and the staff members were super friendly and explanatory. Highly recommended.

I only came here because my usual taqueria was closed. The quesadilla was not the style I expected, and was much messier to eat.

This place is really great. The tripa asada and lengua are really good. Horchata is really good too. Not too sweet, not too dry. Birthing right spot. I can't stress that enough. The owners are really nice too.

This place knows how to treat their clients. Constantly with a kind mindset. The food is conveniently priced, regularly fresh and neat.

This has been the my all time favorite Mexican food in San Leandro. And we have some pretty great Mexican food in San Le. As an expert Mexican food eater, and a San Leandran, I give Taqueria Mi Placita 5 stars. May I recommend the carne asada super quesadilla... NOW MORE IMPORTANTLY, I AM OUT OF THE COUNTRY FOR 5 MONTHS AND I HAVE JUST BEEN TOLD MI PLACITA IS CLOSED. WHAT IS GOING ON? PLEASE INFORM ME! COME BACK MI PLACITA!

It may not look like much, but it tastes sooo good. Five stars for food quality, and honestly that's all that matters in my book. The carne-asada tacos are superb!

The nonprofit I work for has its corporate and training offices in San Leandro, so every time I'm forced to come to some ridiculous training, I kind of look forward to trying a new horrible place along East 14th Street. I like the Chinese buffet, and I'll admit that for a while I even went to some fast-food chains when I just wanted to eat fast and cheap. I was tempted to do the same thing last week, but Taqueria Mi Placita eventually reared its ugly head. The place is a dump, and the parking lot's hard to get into if you're not traveling in the right direction. What it lacks in aesthetic appeal and accessibility, though, it makes up for in value and cilantro. I'm not normally a big fan of cilantro, but this place puts so much of it in your burrito that you almost don't notice it anymore. I know that sounds nonsensical, and maybe it is, but I actually enjoyed the cilantro overload. I also like the fact that they have vegetarian options on their menu. You can get stuff meatless at any taqueria, but you sometimes have to go through a bunch of trouble to explain that no, you don't want any meat. None. The people working here were all nice. My burrito came out quick, and it was huge. I don't know if I'd recommend this place to anyone as it's kind of out of the way, but I'd definitely eat takeout from here, and I might return next time I have some d*** training to do.

there aren't any eateries for blocks around (ten to twenty in fact). the closest is a chinese eatery. this place is basically bare save for tenish tables. there's a tv tuned to spanish tv. though this taqueria is on a corner, it wasn't easy to spot; menu: burrito(5.25) super carne asada(6.00) taco (1.50) carne asada burrito-they claim to put everything on a large flour tortilla which the burrito seemed to be. it consisted mostly of meat and not much rice or beans nor much of the cream cream, tomato, quacamole, etc. it tasted yummy or maybe it was because i was really hungry. the comped chips was fresh and tasty also. friendly service and they didn't charge tax.
