This place is phenomenal. Simple menu of banh mi and bowls but they’re done perfectly. The owner and chef loves what he does and it shows. During my last visit I overhead him training a new employee with such a compassionate tone. This place deserves all the success!

Was my first time in and I’ll just say I’m glad I went. The flavor on those Sisig fries was great and they know how to make crispy fries as well. Renee is a friendly guy and I feel he cooks with passion

Waited 40 mins. When the owner who ever told me 15 mins. Man to man you lost a customer, if it's 40 mins tell me it's 40 not 15.

Sisig fries, Lumpia Shanghai, and Thank Que bowl... So yummy! It's worth the detour into the Embarcadero area. Check hours before you go. The owner and staff are so nice and the fil-viet food is amazing!

The owner is the nicest guy and the food is fantastic. You’re robbing yourself of a great experience by not going. My wife who is very critical of Filipino food adored it.

Just tried Thank Que Grill and it was delicious. The location is hard to spot, but don't let that deter you. When you get there, there's tons of parking space, and they have a really lovely shaded outdoor seating area in the back. You can see the care and love that Chef Rene has put into renovating the place. Definitely feeling a good family vibe from behind the counter, got a sample of the juicy chicken before ordering one of their Filipino Bánh mì sandwiches. Make no assumptions, this looks like a Bánh mì, but has a totally distinctive flavor of its own. I didn't get a chance to try the lumpia because I was in a rush but will be heading back (with friends) to try more items.

I went with my family to check out this local hidden gem and we were not disappointed!! The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the second we walked in the door, all menu items were thoroughly explained and there were BBQ'd chicken samples too! We tried a BBQ'd chicken bowl, sisig fries(!) and an order of lumpia. Everything was excellent and a real surprise was the handmade atchara (pickled green papaya and vegetables), it was really crispy, tangy and tasty! Our 2 year old couldn't keep his hands off the BBQ'd chicken and he enjoyed the outdoor seating area as well. This is a cool little spot with ample parking, we will be back soon to try more of the tasty menu items!!

We have now been here several times. This the perfect 1/2 way point between picking my son and going home. It is across from the Coast Guard Island. The location is safe. Plenty of parking. We come for the FILIPINO STYLE barbecue and friendly service. Everything is great! Especially when the mother-in-law makes a surprise visit and cooks up her specialty pansit (not on the menu). Everything is fresh and cooked (and barbecued) with love. I think we’ve tried everything now. My favorite is toss between the FILIPINO STYLE barbecue Banh Mi sandwich and “THANK QUE” chicken bowl. There are a few tables inside and when the weather is nice, plenty of seating outside. I look forward to hearing live music in the future out there.
Parking: Parking is shared with the charter school during weekday school hours. Take notice of parents, zooming in/out of their designated entrance and exit at the end of the school day!
