I go for the Greek salad ? I usually add some type of protein shrimp or chicken and it's one of the best salads that I ever had especially since I'm trying to lose weight and I love the way these salads are made I don't like cucumbers and I was able to eat the cucumbers in the salad so the salad had to be pretty good for me to eat cucumbers and I can't stand cucumbers all of my life

This a nice cozy small restaurant. The food presentation was great and the grilled chicken and beef combo and grilled lamb and mohallabiah were so delicious! Service was great. We will come back again.

Best kebab in the bay. Attentive staff. I'm there a couple times a week. Also best value for close to home cooked food.

First off. I don’t know who “Uncle Tio” is, but he should be SO PROUD of this establishment.I’m a regular here and I brag to all my friends about how you can literally taste the “freshness” of all their food. Phenomenal!Lastly, but certainly not least, the gentleman that’s usually always there at the front, is the most well mannered and polite person ive ever met at a restaurant. He usually has a vest on, he’s the nicest person in the world and should be protected at all cost. He makes sure your order is exactly how you want and is very efficient! The chicken shawarma plate with yellow rice is my go to but literally can’t go wrong here!

I can understand why this place has a close to 5 star rating - the food is impeccable. This may have been the best lamb I've ever had in my life. The quality of the meal is superb. It is a little on the pricier side but I think that must be everywhere in the Bay Area.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids when I went to dinner

Service is friendly and attentive. Food is excellent and similar to Dish Dash in the South Bay. We had appetizer sampler, mansaf and kebab combo. Ambiance is pleasant. It's a small restaurant with nice background music. Decor includes a mural of the Mediterranean.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant and WOW the food is amazing. I'm a huge Mediterranean food fanatic and have tried so many places all around the Bay Area and Central Valley. I've posted pictures of the food I ordered which I highly recommend. They're wine selection pairs amazingly well with the food. Everything I tried was delicious. The meat was juicy and full of flavor. 10/10 recommend for high end delicious Mediterranean food with an amazing atmosphere and great service.I can't wait to go back!!

Got the veggie sampler as take out for weekday lunch. Nice folks at the counter, small dining room with maybe 8 4-tops and 3 2-tops? The falafel was perfect. Good salt level, crunchy light crust, moist inside. Baba ganoush and the salad were yum, smoove hummus topped with crispy fried whole garbanzo - so good! Maybe less garlic in all of the dishes but def better for going back to the office after lunch. Plenty of pillowy flatbread in a separate bag. Was enough food for me to split into two lunches. Would get again.

Tio's Mediterranean Grill is a small, but intimate restaurant in San Leandro. I have passed it without noticing it many times until my friend recommended it! 5 stars to the falafel! I've never had falafels in the Bay Area like the ones at Tio's. The crunchy shell with the moist inside brought me back to the falafels that I had in Europe. This was my favorite item today! I highly recommend these! For my entree, I got the chicken shawarma wrap with a side salad. It was a solid wrap and the portion size was very generous! In addition, my party also shared the veggie sampler and the baklava. Both did not disappoint, but if I could pick one, I would pick the baklava! Tio's is a great little spot in San Leandro. The staff was very attentive and food arrives quickly after ordering! It can get crowded because of the small space, but it's definitely worth trying (especially the falafels!).

5 stars for sure. Was in the neighborhood visiting a friend and we stopped in for a late lunch. From the moment we walked in we experienced kind friendly service. from the first sip of the hot mint tea to the last bite of the Tepsi kofta was perfection. The flavorful mix of spices with the eggplant and tomato sauce was pervasive in every bite. The restaurant was fairly empty at first but filled up after we sat down with other souls looking happy and fulfilled with their food choices. The restroom was clean and the handsoap smelled good and was well stocked. I would for sure stop back in to try more of their dishes.
