My girlfriend and I came in to place a takeout order, and there were only two tables seated at the time. After we ordered, three more groups were seated. Every single table received their food before the staff even began working on our order. By the time we finally got our food, we had been waiting an hour and a half. I’ve never waited this long for pickup, takeout, or dine‑in service anywhere. I would not recommend this place if you’re expecting decent service.

Delicious and consistent sushi. I have eaten here weekly for years. It’s also a family owned small business and they are great people.

Ordered for take out. Took 8 minutes before we were greeted. It was busy. The food was excellent. Will order ahead next time.

My husband I went here to celebrate something and the waiter was incredibly rude. To the point of taking my chopsticks out of my hands to show me I was doing it improperly. When my husband said something about it HE DID IT AGAIN, taking the chopsticks out of my hand again to show me how to do it “right”
I would have been perfectly fine if he had just made a comment to me saying I was using them incorrectly, but taking my eating utensils out of my hands twice was out of line.

Tsuru was such a great find! The vibe felt just like a classic, cozy sushi spot — simple, inviting, and perfect for a night out.
We went all in with sake bombs (fun and lively), three different rolls — including my favorite, the Lion King — plus garlic edamame, plum wine, and a 6-piece chef’s choice sashimi plate. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
Service was friendly and easygoing, and the atmosphere made it feel like the kind of place you could make a regular stop. Definitely recommend for anyone craving quality sushi with a relaxed, welcoming energy.

Local and simple Japanese restaurant that does a lot of things right. Service is friendly. Food tastes hot and fresh. The rice is the correct texture. They season their food well. I come here often for my lunch break and the consistency is nice to have. I typically get their bento boxes as they provide a good value. I recommend this spot if you are in the area.

I love this hidden gem! I ALWAYS start with 2 Super White/Escolar. They are all very sweet here third time I feel but they remember you. Or they act like it LOL which is always nice. Today this afternoon is making me a special roll. I love that😒♥️ the specialty roll he made is AMAZING. gorgeous and delicious!
Also, it's not way overpriced. I think their portions are generous & prices are very reasonable!!
