This place is hella cute! I haven’t bought food from here but I did get a michelada and a dozen of oysters. The oysters are trash DONT BUY THEM. That was the worst 30$ spent on oysters. The michelada was huge but mid. Not enough seasoning , too much beer. I’ll try some food next time!

Update as of 7/25/2025 - Time for an update of my review since it has been sooo long. We came in after a hiatus of a couple years. The original family has sold to another, and we were skeptical as most people would be of new ownership. We came in pretty early on a week night and were immediately greeted and walked to our booth. The decor is pretty much the same, and the booths are newer and cleaner. The new owner/manager was working on some lighting at that time. The menu is the same with lots of traditional Mexican faire. It was always good food and plentiful in the past. They have kept that alive! YAY. . . We both ordered the Texas chimichanga... word of warning... IT's gigantic! And, during the week they 'currently' have 2 for 1 cocktails. Not only are the cocktails potent, but also still reasonably priced. We were happy to see they have retained the charm and friendly service of this little establishment that rocks the town. NOTE - Park on the street as their lot is 'tricky' at best and there are only 5 slots.

I ordered the fried whole fish. It was very dry. It's always a hit and miss. This time it was a miss. Servers were great. But my food was not.

Micheladas are bad test Bloody Mary . Well our server was having only 2 table with us totall of 3 tables he couldn’t handle it . My wife ordered carnitas . She got a fish 🐠 we asked to pay with 2 cards he took both card but charged 2 times the same card lol never coming back

This place is the worst Mexican food restaurant in San Leandro Ca If you want to come to eat and waste your money, I don't recommend it but you learn from mistakes and here a natural Clamato is worth more than a beer...the worst service takes more than 1 hour to bring you your food or a drink or the waiters @s serve you with a face of what and the truth is the worst experience that I can share about this place
