The new cashiers have a bad attitude, they don't pay attention to the orders, they give incomplete orders, the prices of the food went up and every day they give less for what they charge! This restaurant has little future, my family and I have stopped going to that place!

Best burrito experience so far tu is 2024! Amazing service, worth the wait. You could taste the love in this breakfast burrito, must come and try!

Dirty place, flies all over the place, handling the food with bare hands while touching other things, order a burrito with everything on it and they only put meat, rice, beans, and they charged me 13$, order tacos as well for my mom, that sh1t was a mess, soaky tortillas, meat not cooked well, and filled to the top with onions?? and overall it barely had any flavor.

Waited about 30 minutes for my food only to find out it's half of its size now while doubled its price!!! Food is okay at best definitely not worth the wait and price it is now.

We've been in the neighborhood around 12 years now and have been coming to Avilas for years. They used to be really good, our go to spot, so it sucks writing this review. Over the past 5 years or so we went here less and less because they'd get the order wrong (husband hates onions and they'd put onions), and the quality went down immensely. I had a craving for a burrito and went with my boys, and the Al Pastor was so horrible none of us wanted to eat it. We tried using forks to just scoop Out the beans and rice, but it was a waste of food. Not only that, I made a phone order for the two burritos and a coke, the waitress told me she'd give me the total when we got there. $38 for two burritos and a coke!! Not going back again.

Would give it a zero ordered a steak burrito and tacos for my kids and the meat taste sour. Plus I purchased 2 horchatas and they had a spoiled taste a couple minutes later the horchata curded and my son got a stomach ache.

This place is my go to spot now for good Mexican food in the San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Hayward area. The food is great, but do be aware that they do run out of certain things towards the end of the day. Parking - The first time it took me 10 minutes to find parking. Their parking lot can only fit 4-5 cars. The area the taqueria is located as a lot of no street parking signs, and it's located at a busy intersection. I parked in the neighborhood. The walk was fine. However, the crosswalk was a 2-4 minute wait because of how busy the intersection was. After the first time, my partner and I just drop each other off at the taqueria, while the other finds parking.
