A little hidden gem for dim sum. It's a mom and pop shop that serves freshly made dim sum. The prices are reasonable and variety of different types! They also have frozen dumplings. We ordered 4 things from the menu and the total was about $20. Since everything is made to order, there's usually a bit of a wait but worth it for delicious to go dim-sum. Small quite little place.

Arrive first thing in the morning and allowed me to place my order 5 minutes before the opening time. Got the Sui Mai (both fish and pork) , har how, sticky rice, steamed and baked char siu boa, and Egg tarts. All were really good, about as good as it gets for a to go Dim Sum place especially being more reasonable than a sit down place.

Dim sum house is the best dim sum in the area! the food quality and how fresh it is really stands out. Typical small mom n pop shop, support your local businesses!

Dim Sum House is located partially in a neighborhood and school zone on a rather semi-busy street. Parking is along the street, but it may be hit or miss because of the surrounding area. This is a tiny shop with a plain and simple exterior, and the interior looks a bit dirty / messy with everything stored off to the side by the front entrance. No seating here, it is more of a quick to go spot, which I did not mind because my mom and I were looking for quick takeout to bring home. Not much service - the employee working the front counter / register looked like he did not want to be there, probably because he was obviously sick because he coughed at least 10 - 12 times from the time my mom and I walked in to look at the menu, order, and pay. I was a bit skeptical, but we were already there and the other dim sum spot we tried going to first was closed at that time and we were on a time crunch. We waited in the car for our order after being told that it will only be a 10 minutes wait, when we came back, we had to wait a little longer, and he was still coughing and after awhile, we received our order. I ended up getting pretty sick from the employee afterwards, and my family and I did not enjoy the dim sum and were not feeling that well after eating the food from here. We ordered their Beef Siu Mai, Chinese Sausage Buns, Chiu Chow Dumplings, Shrimp Dumplings, Steamed Beef Balls, Steamed Chicken Feet, Steamed Rice Roll with Beef, Steamed Rice Roll with Shrimp, and Stuffed Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf Wrap. I was really looking forward to the Chinese Sausage Buns and Stuffed Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf Wrap, but both of those were such a disappointment - the sausage bun was a bit hard and not soft, while the sausage tasted a bit off and the sticky rice was alright, but it was missing the best part, which is the usual salty egg yolk. Honestly, I think the best item out of everything was the Steamed Chicken Feet for me. Everything else tasted like it was loaded with a lot of MSG / sodium.

The best dim sum in East Bay. And this is coming from someone who lives in Hong Kong. Can't go wrong with any of the items that you order. Tip: Order ahead because it can be a bit of a wait.

I love this place so much. This place has the best steamed pork ribs and the buns. The pork buns often sell out, so you gotta get them quick!!!!

just moved to the area and love that this place is so close to us!! we love dim sum on random days and this one was fantastic and fresh! it is made to order and the owner suggests ordering ahead by phone if you can, it is about a 15-20 minute wait if ordered in person. but honestly, i love that, you know its fresh and not been sitting around for who knows how long. ordered classic dim sum plates like har gow, shrimp rice rolls, shu mai, etc and honestly had no complaints anything anything. one of my favorite dishes to order at dim sum is pork ribs and they have rice rolls with pork ribs, its a bit different with the rice roll but you get the same great taste of pork ribs, it was tender and soft, rice rolls were bouncy and fresh as well and coated with the sauce. they also had fish shu mai, something ive never seen before at a dim sum spot. highly recommend if you're in the area!!

One of my favorite go to dim sum places in Hayward. I love their Fried Shrimp Balls because they are a perfect small size. Even when my friend and I order them on doordash, it still comes crunchy. There is not one thing that I don't like. Ordering ahead is always adviced because it can get busy, but the wait is never really that long.

Worth every star! Take out only, parking is pretty easy to find. Call them to place a large order. They have a more extensive menu then what's available online through apps like Grubhub. The food is so yummy and authentic. Best option for dim sum in the east bay. The har gow is my favorite! The bbq pork buns are my second favorite, the sauce with the meat is so flavorful. Honestly, just get a few of everything and you won't be disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to place my next order.

This place is a hole in the wall. Very very good. Authentic, generous portion, service was good too. No dine-in. Take out only. Street parking not too hard to find. Here's my rating of the food: Har gow: 6/5!!! One of the best I've had Shumai: 5/5 BBQ pork buns: 5/5 so much meat!! Rice rolls (beef): 2/5- the only thing I didn't really like the sauce was bland Egg tart: 4/5 Sticky rice: 5/5 My favorite spot in town now. Will be coming back consistently for sure!!! So yum!

Dim Sum House is one of the best dim sum spots actually hidden at the border of Hayward and San Lorenzo. With very limited street parking, they are take-out only. They seem to be pretty busy most of the time, especially the neighboring businesses posting signs for no dim sum parking and only for their business. It is helpful to have someone who can drive so that you can do a type of grab and go when ordering ahead online or call. You can call to order, order online, or walk in, but keep in mind there isn't a place to sit and wait inside the restaurant. The wait is about 10-15 minutes after placing the order either way. So far, I've tried and consistently so good: Siu Mai with Shrimp Shrimp Dumplings Fried Shrimp Balls Shanghai Juicy Pork Dumplings There are plenty of other items on the menu to try. They also offer the frozen Siu Mai and other frozen dumplings in bulk, so you can warm them up your own way at your own time. The chili sauce provided is roughly 1/4 in a tiny cup, so I suggest using your own chili sauce/paste supply if you need more than what they give. If you are looking for an express/take-out dim sum for a quick lunch or picking up dinner early, this is the place to go. It is truly a hole in the wall with a small sign hanging over alongside other small businesses.
