This place is OK. We ordered a halo halo here to go and when we got home, we noticed there was no ice cream in the halo halo. I called them and they just said that they ran out of ice cream. I've never had a halo halo without ice cream before. Needless to say, it was the worst halo halo I've ever had. However, that is not the reason we will not be returning. In my opinion, they should have told us that they didn't have ice cream instead of just selling us a halo halo at full price and sending us on our way. They should have at least offered us a refund on the item. This is not a business practice I want to support.

Tried Pinoy's Place near our house, which offers late night Filipino options. It's run by Kusina Ni Javen Jessel, a cooking duo that has primarily focused on catering in the past (and present, I think). The menu's primarily silog dishes (garlic fried rice with egg, vinegar sauce, and the meat of your choice) with roughly ten to choose from. An incredibly tasty complimentary broth helped us pass the time while our entrees cooked--this is a not a busy spot, so everything is cooked to order.Ben had beef (tapsilog) and I had sausage (longganisilog) - I asked for the spicy option, but I'm pretty sure I got the sweet one instead (still tasty!). Prices are good for quite a fair bit of meat! Definitely add the vinegar sauce to the rice for some extra flavor.Bonus points for a refreshing calamansi juice, too. It's nice to have another option for dining after 10pm, when everything but chains has closed up in the 'burbs. I'm hopeful I can try some of their trademark dishes in the future, like bone marrow tacos and a buko pandan dessert cup. But I think it's definitely a spot where you have to take what you can get at that time of night! ?

I did not regret spending my money and trusting Joanne and Jake to host my party. The accommodation, food, decorations and the hospitality of the whole crew is above and beyond. Thank you so much, We really had a blast. Rating 5 stars. 10/10 service guaranteed.

My favorite Filipino food! Excellent service, nice environment, and the food is made to order. I love the tocino and tapsilog with Java rice and fried eggs. The lumpia are crispy, flavorful, and the dipping sauce completes it. I eat here at least 2-3 times per month. Make sure to try the desserts.

Pinoy's place is now owned by KusinaNiJavenJesel. I love coming to this place whenever I'm in the area. Food is always fresh and yummy. Most of the food here are cook to order so take note be patient if you want a real deal filipino food. Service is great, owners are nice and welcoming. The area is behind 76 gas station. Lots of parking, the inside is very welcoming and they have section where kids can play. Food- my fave is Sinigang Beef and Bangus sisig. Drink- MELON juice ftw!! Yum and refreshing. They also have bone marrow here!! Don't sleep on them!! Make sure to try. You won't be disappointed. Did I mention? They offer catering and 1 stop shop.

If I could give 6 stars I would. My boyfriend and I were on our way back home and wanted good filipino food that was open late. I'm so glad we stopped by here! It's located in an alley and has lots of parking. We got the bansilog, liemposilog, gulaman, and karioka. The bangus was so crunchy on the skin and it basically melted in your mouth. We asked the owners and they said they have their own marinade for the bangus and their vinegar is specially mixed and some ingredients in it are from the Philippines! The karioka was very different but in a really good way. Everything tasted so fresh and the garlic rice hits, especially late at night. Our roommate was close to the old owners of this place and he told us that the new owners actually won an award for some food.Coming back here again really soon!
