Had a craving for sushi after a Friday night out but all of my go to joints were closed. But managed to find this one in San Lorenzo and glad to see a sushi joint on this stretch open til midnight no less! I only ordered the Lion King for a late night snack. It was ok and because I was in a hurry and "hangry", I agreed for just 80% baked rather than all the way. I wish I had waited. The roll itself was ok, mediocre, more rice than I like and the salmon was a bit overdone. But still quite satisfying. I noticed an extensive menu on the wall including a nice selection of pokes, donburis, udons/ramens, and ritos which I'd never heard of before. Something for everyone and something different too. But if it was just service, I'd give them 5 stars. Both the chef preparing the sushi and the lady taking orders, were super nice and friendly and willing to accommodate me and the other patrons. Well done. I'll come again when I get my next late night craving, sushi or anything else!

Horrible service. I ordered a rainbow roll to go and there was no one else in the place and they told me 5-10 mins. 20mins after I still haven't gotten my roll. I asked and was told it was almost ready...5mins later a guy walks in with some produce (maybe he went to the store)and started making my roll. Now I know why this place was empty. The sushi was decent.

To be honest, I was skeptical to try this place because it reminds me of those fast food sushi spots (such as Fat Fish in SL). I honestly only enjoyed my salmon nigiri because it tasted decent and wasn't fishy tasting. My double salmon roll tasted a bit on the fishy side (didn't taste fresh) and they charged an extra $2 for it compared to the other rolls which are similar ( I guess because it wasn't on the menu, even though the waitress told me they can do special orders). The chef ended up giving us a on the house sushi appetizer (probably because my bf and I were taking so many pictures of their sushi) and the appetizer was pretty good too (spicy tuna, salmon, and seaweed salad). I want to rate this place higher but I really questioned the freshness of the salmon roll and the pricing was a bit steep for most of the rolls especially for a sushi spot like this.

This place is new and clean. They have comfortable tables and chairs. The cashier and cooks are very friendly. Its a comfortable place to eat by yourself or chat with friends. I came here twice and ordered bento boxes and bake mussel. Most item on menu are spicy and raw. They play loud English radio music, but did lower it when I request. Rating of food from 0 - 10: (1) beef terayaki: 3 - like unseason poach beef & top with sweetsauce. (2) miso soup: 8 - contain fresh seaweed, tofu, and spring onion. (3) salad: 8 - fresh, good portion, they use ranch dressing. (4) rice tea: 9 - fresh and flavorful, unlimited self serve. (5) bake mussel: 4 - watery and very little cream/cheese topping. (6) bento box's rolls: 5 - too less stuffing/ overall not enough flavor.

I am new to this area. Happened to find a very good promotion on wechat group. So yea, my BF and I tried this place out. It was a Tuesday, so not many people. And I found out this this place was fairly new in this area; they just moved to this area from Oakland. They have daily/weekly special which not on the menu. But just be on the safe side since this is our first time at this place, we ordered food that are only on the menu. Two people, we ordered the hamachi kama -tender and juicy, good potion for two people-, mojo mango roll-piece of art, the mango is very fresh, spicy tuna is a plus-,baby lobster-don't know how to express in words so 5stars-, golden scallop-I love it-, and 49er. Pictures will show u the truth. Would make the last picture perfect if the owner(she seems like the owner, because she provides excellent services, always checking out on us, to refill tea and take away empty dishes) didn't take away the other empty plate. I also like the interior, simple but to the point. (If you don't know what that means, go check it out yourself.) Will definitely come again and again......

The food is fresh and delicious. The gentleman who was working is extremely polite and helpful in identifying the menu. Definitely a great local dining late night bite.

Ordered through GrubHub right at 11am since they just opened was at that time, was hoping it'll be ready once I got there. We got there around 1115 and they just start making it mind you there was no customer there. No big deal I got the salmonrito and the hamachirito, both was pretty good but the cost was definitely a bit high for what I got. Just wished they put a little bit more fish in it.

This place is just ok. My bf and I ordered a poke bowl and Alaska roll. The sushi was decent but the bowl was small, not a lot of rice or protein. The sauce was not the best either. However, the gentleman who took and made our order was very nice and the place is clean. I would only recommend if you're close by or looking for late night sushi since they do close at 11:00PM.

HOLY S*** WHAT THE F*** I'VE BEEN TROLLED. We used door dash to order. I happen to got an EXTRA LARGE poki bowl 5 scoops of protein and toppings of my choice ($16.99) And a hamachi roll (sushirito) ($13) Now let me f****** mention about the poke bowl. Food: THE POKE BOWL OH MY F****** GOD THIS WAS AVERAGE AS F**** If you were to ask me why this is an ok bowl because the taste and quality of this bowl was alright. The main problem I personally had with this was that they advertise this as an EXTRA LARGE poki bowl. When i received it, oh my god, it was basically a medium. The BOWL WAS A F****** MEDIUM. The reasoning why was that other poki places large are larger than this so I had high expectations on the size. I paid 17 dollars for this and i expect more than this. The bowl was so damn small, i was ready to f****** eat an another. The portions for each protein were literally a small a** scoop and it didn't have much fish to begin with. The rice was literally non-existent as all of the other toppings and veggies covered it. I didnt order mango and so why the hell do i have mango in my bowl?!?!?! I didnt pay 17 dollars for a small poki bowl to taste like this DO NOT BUY THE POKI BOWL. Wow holy s**** The hamachi roll quality was below average and tasted funny. Threw rest of it away as i thought it was spoiled. I question the quality of the restaurant and its food as everything is overpriced and they can't even have the quality to match up to it. AT LEAST THE QUALITY. i could care less if it at least tasted amazing, but it didn't. Even your food can't save how ripped off the portions were. Do not advertise extra large until you see a normal large or a medium looks like at other poki restaurants. I am massively disappointed with this place and the credibility of this restaurant is just questionable. TL;DR: the food here is okay at some points, The portion is ridiculous, everything is overpriced for what its worth. Rate: 2/10
