The pastore was super super oily. I feel like they really didn’t care the way they gave me my order the way it looks on the picture didn’t look the same. I was skimped on the meat thinking I was going to get an abundant taco, but nonetheless was surprised by a skimpy Al pastor taco and a super super oily Al pastor burrito. For the over pricing, I would expect my food to be on point.

Pretty great at all the main ingredients of a good taco truck and outdoor dining experience. The regular burrito isn't huge but comes at a reasonable price and doesn't make you mad at yourself for eating all of it. The pastor was moist and tender, the other ingredients in the burrito were fresh and tasty, and the tortilla was toasted like the pros always do it. A carnitas taco was loaded with quality meat. Salsa and chips are good, as were the jalapenos and carrots. Service was quick and easy, and the food came out pretty quick.
There are a lot of Mexican places around the SL/Ashland/Hayward area, and this one holds up with the best of them. I'll definitely be going back.

The taco truck is a little bit on the pricey side. 3.50 per taco.i ordered 4 tacos 2 steak and 2 al pastor, they where super grease . I couldn’t even taste the meat bc of how greasy it was . They don’t have authentic salsas. They come in a package . Overall not appetizing.

Tried Tacos La Calle, which has been around about a year now on the corner of Lewelling and Via Granada in San Lorenzo. It's a taco truck with a very appealing beer garden feel in their lot. Note: No credit cards. Cash or apps only.
I tried their birria taco (in back of photo) and their vampiro antijitos (in front of photo). They were served up with some grilled onion and potato bites and the more typical pickled carrots, peppers, and radishes.
The quesabirria taco was disappointing - there are much better options in the area. This one had cheese between two limp tacos and good, if uninspiring, birria meat. No sauce - that's extra, apparently.
The vampiro, however, was amazing! It combines a taco with a quesadilla with a tostada and it is a little slice of cruncy, delicious Mexican food perfection! I will definitely be back for that and to try their tortas, giant burritos, and fry platters, which looked intense.
This place seriously has bomb Mexican food! It's very low key and unassuming but has a good vibe. There's stringed festoon lighting and pinic tables and Cornhole for a picnicy, chill, almost biergarten feel. The staff is always very friendly and nice. I like to support the local, small business. They take venmo only but know before you go and it should not disappoint!

Every time I have come here everyone is really friendly. The last time I was there I tried their carne asada torta and it was delicious! It also comes with fries. I also ordered an horchata which was also really good. This is my new favorite place to get tortas.
