First time here. Staff were great. Pizza was good. Salad was good. Fair pricing. Lots of seating options.

We were looking for some take-out to eat back in our motel room after a long day's driving, and the manager at the motel recommended this place. It's a lively student sports-bar pizza joint with an amazing variety of available pies with different crusts, and what looks like maybe 25 beers and other beverages on tap, but the crowd at 8:30 wasn't too noisy or nuts and the guys pulling pints were very friendly. After a free taste (!) we had a pint each of their house-brewed IPA and Red Ale while we were waiting for our pizza, and both beers turned out to be surprisingly good, with the extra surprise that Wednesday was 'Discount Pint Night' or something, so they were a mere $5 each! If we could have rented somebody to carry us back to our motel, we would definitely have knocked down a few more of these brews. The pizza turned out to be delicious, as well. All in all a fun stop.

Our family voted this the BEST pizza ever. We had the carnitas pizza and it was out of this world. The younger kids had basic cheese pizza and they also said it was amazing (which is not always the case with them!).

1st off, NFL ticket. Only place we found in SLO to watch football. Great bar, solid food, pizza is amazing, salads are fresh and delicious. Staff is beyond exceptional, friendly, helpful, and fun.

Best place in SLO to stop for a pizza. Great for the family, prices are about right these days. Lots of beer on tap and even a few ciders. Outdoor seating and LLOTs of indoor space. You can even order it to be delivered to your air bnb or hotel room.

We enjoyed personal pizzas here one weekday evening. The music was a bit loud at a couple of the tables we tried out, but otherwise it was a fun time!

Overall 5/5 broken down below : Food/Taste/Flavor : 4/5 - The crust was superb! The toppings are good but not mindblowing. Still on the salty side, particularly for the pork in the kicking carnitas, which may have been marinating too long. I enjoyed the cheesiness of it all; it was super fresh and satisfying to see how it all strings up as you take a slice. Ambience/Service : 5/5 - We came in late at 9:30pm and it was still popping. Cashier was really friendly. We decided to eat in to soak up the environment. About a 25 minute wait. Still an army of student workers you can see making your pizza. There is this lad cleaning up all the tables with his bare hands (get him some gloves haha poor guy). Value for Price : 5/5 - $30.50 for the xlarge pizza (16") which is still on the pricey end. But I still gave a 5 because it was still two full meals for the two of us. It was also nice because we were able to get a different topping for each side of the pizza.

For our last meal in San Luis Obispo, we asked for a local’s suggestion and they recommended Woodstock’s Pizza. It was a great choice! Located in downtown San Luis Obispo, the local chain features a wide variety of pizzas, in addition to appetizers and salads. As of July 2021, Woodstock’s is operating as a counter-serve restaurant only, where you order at the front, pick a seat, and have your food delivered to you. We’re from out of town, so we don’t know if this is the typical style of operating, or whether the restaurant is trying to reduce interactions due to COVID-19, but they had plenty of menus and the employee who took our order was very helpful. Like other restaurants in downtown, Woodstock’s has plenty of seating inside (much of it themed to Cal Poly), in addition to several tables outside. We chose a table outside with umbrellas, and within five minutes of sitting down, a staff member brought out the Greek salad that we had ordered as an appetizer. Despite ordering just a “Regular”-sized salad, it was still quite a big plate — definitely enough for 2, if not 3, people — with a wide variety of vegetables and toppings. The ingredients all tasted fresh and we enjoyed it. Shortly after, the two pizzas we had ordered — a medium cheese pizza and a personal meat lover’s pizza — arrived at our table. Both were piping hot, but once they had cooled off slightly, we enjoyed both! The medium was good for one hungry patron (likely two people maximum — it’s only 12”). The cheese and other toppings tasted fresh and the crust was somewhat doughy, not extremely thick but more than an extremely thin-crust pizza. We didn’t order any drinks, but we did notice advertisements for $9 pitchers during happy hour, after 9 p.m. While the pizza tasted great, sitting outside in downtown SLO was just as unique of an experience, which we’d definitely suggest. While Woodstock’s, at least for us, might not go down as “the best pizza ever,” it was still an enjoyable experience. Next time we’re in the San Luis Obispo area and looking for a solid pizza, we’d definitely be back to the restaurant.

So Delicious!!! We had the garlic bird and a pepperoni, and it's probably the best pizza I've had in California. We parked in SLO with no real plan and the aroma coming from this joint just grabbed us and we floated down the street like in a cartoon.

Love the vegan pizza. They have daiya cheese, you can build your own pizza. They are bigger than they look, very thick crust.

Well they're wrong. It takes a lot for me to pass on pizza and go to bed hungry. But these guy pulled it off. Too much disgusting sauce. Tasted like round table sauce which is also garbage. Flavorless cheese. Overly crusty and soggy to boot. I swear to God california wouldn't know good pizza if it slapped them. Skip this

After a hard day of yard work, we decided on Woodstock pizza. Ordered a large pizza and was very pleased. The pepperoni was tasty and enjoyed the sausage and black olives. Very pleased they met our request for no onions. Pick up was easy and was still warm when we got back to eat.

REALLY good pizza! It is pricey, but I thought it was worth it. You can tell from the pictures the type of pie your dealing with here. Its not Domino's. Its gonna cost a little more. Ya gotta pay for that fire!
