First time here. Staff were great. Pizza was good. Salad was good. Fair pricing. Lots of seating options.
We were looking for some take-out to eat back in our motel room after a long day's driving, and the manager at the motel recommended this place. It's a lively student sports-bar pizza joint with an amazing variety of available pies with different crusts, and what looks like maybe 25 beers and other beverages on tap, but the crowd at 8:30 wasn't too noisy or nuts and the guys pulling pints were very friendly. Our family voted this the BEST pizza ever. We had the carnitas pizza and it was out of this world. The younger kids had basic cheese pizza and they also said it was amazing (which is not always the case with them!).
Backyard Pizza is a lively student sports-bar pizza joint that offers a wide variety of pies with different crusts and a selection of 25 beers and other beverages on tap. The atmosphere is lively, but not too noisy, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The pizzas are delicious, with options such as the carnitas pizza, which was voted the best ever. The salads are fresh and delicious, and the staff are exceptional, friendly, and fun. With discounts on certain nights, such as 'Discount Pint Night', Backyard Pizza is a fun stop for a meal and drinks.
