Got the Lomo Saltado. The flavor was amazing. Deep, rich flavors but too powerful. Veggies were cooked very well and the potatoes were nice and crispy. The service was great as well. I was able to speak to the owner, Kata, about her restaurant and the food. You can tell she is very passionate about the food and the ingredients that go into her dishes. I like that they have plenty of seating and a bar area. I also had the Pisco Maracuya which tasted so good!
Excellent Peruvian cuisine. We’ve eaten at several Peruvian restaurants around California and Coya is now at the top of our list. We ordered: Papa La Huancayina, Tallin Saltado, Causa and Ceviche. They were all delicious.
We tried this Peruvian restaurant in the heart of San Luis Obispo after attending my son's graduation and it was phenomenal! I'm Peruvian and I can attest the food is authentic and so delicious. We tried a number of dishes including Cevicho Mixto, Saltado Coya and Tallarines a la Huancaina. Everything was fabulous! And the desserts were also so tasty. Overall great experience!
