We ordered off of the Happy Hour menu: Mozarella sticks, pretzel, chicken & waffles, carnitas nachos, grilled cheese & tomato soup,& the burger and a side of fries. The kids had pasta w/ butter & cheese
Everything was hot & came out quickly.Yum! Several wait staff came to ask if we needed anything else.
We will be back next time we are in the area!
I have been coming here since it opened, after becoming a fan via the SB location. At the beginning they were a solid choice every time, but as of late, this place appears to be falling apart. The last handful of times (not just one bad experience) our food has taken a ridiculous amount of time to arrive. Food runners repeatedly try to serve us someone else's food, but ours is no where to be found. The last two times we have been put in the position of needing to ask because no one was checking on our behalf why our food had not come yet. The latest incident took one hour for our entrees and THEN the app came out awkwardly after our main plates arrived and only after our server apologized and said the manager would comp it. It has now gotten to the point where I am suggesting to friends we go elsewhere. Although staff is always pleasant on a personal level, the service is terrible where it comes to delivering food in a reasonable amount of time. Aside from that the food is usually good quality,

My family and I have enjoyed many celebrations at this place. Always very accommodating, friendly and the food and drinks are excellent! We will be back again for another celebration, Iβm certain!

Food and drinks were fresh and delicious. Onion rings were awesome. Fun photos hanging all around good music and a sports bar vibe. Great place to get a meal and hang out with friends

Took my son there for lunch, waiter came out took our order, brought our drinks and we never saw him again. Asked for sweetener for my tea and he never brought it. Someone else brought our food and no one checked on us after that. Table was wobbly and sticky. Not going back.

The food here is ok but the service is sporadic and theyβve now made the filthy tablet devices a requirement for paying. No thanks.

This is our go-to spot every time we're in San Luis Obispo for the weekend. The food is consistently great, and the drinks never disappoint! My personal favorites are the JalapeΓ±o Egg Burger and the Carnitas Tacos--I usually pair them with one of their light craft beers or a margarita. My wife loves the Avocado Egg Rolls and always goes for the Blackberry Seltzer when it's available. What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere and the service. We somehow end up in the same section every visit, and Haley is hands down the best server we've had. She's always attentive, friendly, and makes us feel genuinely welcome every time. Finney's definitely made a great hire with her. We always look forward to coming back!

We both ordered the bison burgers, they did not taste very good. Slow service. Would not recommend.

They always have some great music playing and the waiters are friendly and energetic! They get very busy some nights! Great food and drinks. Family friendly as well.

The food was pretty good. The Bavarian pretzel was our favorite with the different sauces. We also got the wings and Wagyu burger. Nothing special or extraordinary. Our server was nice and the place had good energy

There is nothing about our visit to Finney's today that was good, this was an hour and half spent waiting to eat burgers that were, to my taste, less interesting than In-N-Out. First we got on the wait list, told 10 minutes - took over 20 (they knew the wait was longer and that the kitchen was slammed and said nothing). Once seated we waited 15 minutes to order, waited another 30 minutes for the food - needless to say ZERO stars for service. Plus I needed to hunt down cutlery and napkins for our table (after the meal was served), god forbid I'd need a condiment for my meal. The burger arrived over-cooked, bun dry, with stale smelling cheese, and covered in so much spicy sauce they must be hoping we wouldn't notice the food had little flavor. The onion rings were under-cooked and a bit gross to be honest. This was our second visit to Finney's and last.
Thank you for reaching out, I appreciate the effort. Making the experience better for others would be the best way to make this right. Greater training of the staff greeting customers, honest timeframe disclosure, and server training that includes full service requirements even when slammed. Your system prompts for a minimum server tip of 15% - make them earn it.

The food was good and fresh, but Addison, our server was the BEST! Engaging, conscientious, and funny.
I had the ahi poke and my friend had the salmon bowl. Both delicious! The only bad thing about eating there is the parking. What a hassle! But we met a nice gentleman at the parking area that actually joined us for lunch. It was a fun experience! π
