Hoagies | Sandwiches & Grill (San Luis Obispo)

I had the hot pastrami sandwich. It was great. I will say I expected it to me i. A hoagie but it came on sourdough. Staff were great and the place is very nice. Relaxed atmosphere.

My family has been to the pismo location a million times but this was the first time we had ever been to this one.I definitely think we will be visiting this one from now on.We went with a large party over father's day, there were ten of us all together. The place was empty so we were able to find a place to sit with no problem. The lay out and decor of the resturaunt was very laid back. Our kids liked the couch and seating area in the corner.
The young lady at the counter was so nice and got our food out really quickly. The whole experience was really great and we can't wait to visit again soon.

Fantastic food and large portions.
Wife had the burger and fries and it was outstanding and huge. Great flavors.
I had the pulled pork sandwich. Being from NC, I've eaten a BBQ pork sandwich or two. Let me tell you, this pulled pork sandwich with BBQ is out of this world.
I would give up my vinegar-based pulled-pork sandwiches for life for Hoagies pulled pork sandwich. And this thing is HUGE and Fantastic tasting.

Hoagies is one of my favorite restaurants in SLO. I ordered the Surf and Turf wrap which is loaded with shrimp, tritip, and avocado. It is so flavorful and filling. The curly fries are the right amount of saltiness. I always look forward to coming back to try something new!

I have worked in the plaza next to Hoagies for many years and often depend on them for my lunches (and on occasion my breakfast and/or dinner). Their menu offers a variety of options and the portions are very generous.They bake many of their own desserts and the aroma is heavenly. Nothing better than a chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven. However, my most favorite thing about the restaurant are the people who work there.They are kind, thoughtful, generous and go out of their way for me, often delivering my forgotten lunch order and making sure to include utensils, napkins and extra ranch! Although it can be very hot inside, especially while baking on hot temperature days, the atmosphere is always welcoming with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Randomly stayed in San Luis Obispo for the first time found the restaurant and decided to try it and it was amazing. The service was great prices were fair and quality of food was amazing I highly recommend.

Everything about this place is just amazing. I absolutely love the food, vibe, and service!! I only got breakfast twice from here but both times hit really well and I know that everything else is amazing here. Must go for travelers!

Some if the best tasting food there is. Is your traditional platters with SLO uniqueness and flavor. Love it..
The portion sizes are on point for the cost. The restaurant has spacious indoor seating and quite a bit of outdoor seating also.
We didn't order beer but they appear to have a wide selection of beers.
We all ordered different things and you can see they did a nice job prepping the fog food with decent portions, toppings.
The coconut shrimp was so good, the fish and chips were thick, flaky pieces, the burger was huge and the wrap was packed.
Easily one of my favorites in SLO.

I find it difficult to pass up a sandwich shop, especially to partake of their Italian subs. Hoagies has a good one. Not traditional, but the pastrami is a good touch. Their prices are on the high end and that makes it a bit less palatable.

This place has great food don't get me wrong but it had a few things not to my liking, first off the sandwich was HUGE and came with fries too so make sure you have room in your stomach if you come here, secondly it was a bit too greasy for my liking and lastly: WAY too many flies, maybe it's just me being a little wimp but does anybody like flies when there eating? I did manage to put unwanted scraps on the table beside us which helped ease the fly situation but it is probably better when there is more people. Overall decent food but the place could have a little work
