I’ve been eating at Kona’s since the mid-1990s, and after all these years, one thing hasn’t changed—they make a great sandwich. The tuna is top-tier, the deli meats are always fresh, the bread is delicious, and even the soda fountain hits just right (they must keep that machine extra clean). My only gripe? I've been eating at Kona’s Deli since the 1990s, and it’s still one of my favorite sandwich spots in San Luis Obispo. The quality has always been consistent—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and unbeatable flavor. My go-to orders are the tuna with cheddar and the Pipeline—both are absolutely delicious. The bread is especially great, soft with just the right amount of chew. My only complaint is that I wish they had longer hours during the week—I can only make...

They're Super Expensive........ I've known this sandwich deli shop since 1989, I remember the original owners. It was good back them but today while admire the new owners to keep it going, the prices are just too high. When you think about it, there's no waiter, you don't have to leave a tip, only two or three employees possibly, the parking is iffy but their overhead it's not like they have huge cost to tack on to the customer to give them the excuse...
