Great little find in slo. Was bummed that they didn't get their fish order when I was there. Was very much looking forward to the red snapper ceviche. They did, however, have some delicious prawns. I had one of the best Chile rellenos stuffed with cheese and large prawns. Shredded beef tacos are highly recommended. The Baja fish tacos are flavorful and large. And our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Will be back again

Cool spot. Walked in on a Monday night for a team dinner around 6pm. We were seated immediately and served by a very energetic waiter happy to answer all our questions and make sure we got what we needed. The place was spacious with a mix of bar height tables and traditional tables. Very clean with good music and live sports on the TV. The food was pretty good. Good flavors, decent portions and large variety. Would definitely come back for a similar occasion.

Amazing staff, incredible food! Must try the Bentley Margarita. You can taste the freshness in every item that was brought to our table. Leonard welcomed us and made us feel like family.

The amtmosphere and setting were impressive. Beautiful decor with a friendly, lively ambiance. The service was fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive. The food was good but did leave a bit to be desired. No shade on the chefs. They were doing a fantastic job. Maybe a step up in the quaulity of ingredients and flavors at this price point would be appreciated. Maybe a handmade tortilla and fresh guacamole would have been better.

We have been going here for a while and it’s t * never* disappoints!!! The kids quesadilla is soo good and not even a big fan. Not greasy and cheese is just so light yet packed with flavor. Husband usually gets enchilada and loves it. Burritos are huge ( 2 people could easily split it) and I always get the mango salad because it is wonderful. If you order a shredded chicken taco and extra cilantro a la carte you have a perfect meal that doesn’t make you so bloated. For dessert we prefer to walk up the street or even behind to the creamery. Adding pic of the most ripe mango salad and I put half my chicken taco in the the salad 🥳

Stopped by La Esquina Taqueria while visiting SLO and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is casual and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal. I ordered the fajitas and enchiladas, and both were delicious. The fajitas came out sizzling and full of flavor, and the enchiladas were cheesy, comforting, and well-balanced. The homemade chips were a standout—fresh, crispy, and perfect with their house salsas. Service was friendly and fast, and everything tasted super fresh. Definitely planning to come back next time I’m in town!

What an amazing restaurant. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. The red snapper melted in my mouth. If you're ever in San Luis Obispo this a place to stop for some really good chill and grub time.

We had a great time at La Esquina Taqueria in San Luis Obispo — a vibrant and welcoming spot with a lively atmosphere and delicious food.
The tacos were flavorful and fresh, with creative combinations and high-quality ingredients. Everything we tried was packed with taste and clearly made with care.
One highlight was definitely the margarita cocktail — perfectly balanced, refreshing, and probably one of the best we had on our trip. A must-try if you stop in!
Friendly service, cool vibe, and great food and drinks — we’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in town.

I really love this place. It’s upscale and always busy when I visit. It’s best to make a reservation if you are going in the evening, especially on a weekend.
I’ve eaten here several times. It’s really great for date night or a special occasion. I always get great and friendly service here.
It is a little pricey but has great options on the menu and good specials to try as well. They have a cocktail list, but have a full bar, so you don’t have to go with the menu.
I will definitely be back again!

Awesome Mexican food place in SPO. Great homemade chips, awesome vibe and attentive staff. It’s a little on the higher end, but the flavors made it worth it. Fantastic enchiladas with a lot of flavor. Mojito was refreshing and good, queso was pretty good as well. Good place to give a try.

We sat down about 5:30pm and the restaurant wasn’t crowded, but I will have to say that the service was sporadic, as though our waitress had too many tables. By the time we ordered, one of us asked if there was cumin in the green enchiladas and she definitively said no. When they came, they had a strong cumin flavor, so they had to be traded for another item, which took another 10 to 15 minutes.
I would also say that a nice restaurant like this one that has. QR code for a menu is a shame. Just my opinion.
I ordered prawn cocktail and got 4 prawns for $19. I felt the whole meal and experience was lackluster and overpriced.

Staff was nice and attentive and the place has a good open space and vibe. But the food...we ordered the ceviche which was tasty but served in a metallic (maybe aluminum?) martini glass? Tacky IMHO. A nice mexican ceramic bowl that makes it easy to scoop out the fish with the (tasty) tortilla chips would be so much better. My other half ordered shrimp tacos which the restaurant served with melted cheese. Seriously? Keep the tacos simple. Leave the cheese to the side. Decent margaritas.
