We sat down about 5:30pm and the restaurant wasn’t crowded, but I will have to say that the service was sporadic, as though our waitress had too many tables. By the time we ordered, one of us asked if there was cumin in the green enchiladas and she definitively said no. When they came, they had a strong cumin flavor, so they had to be traded for another item, which took another 10 to 15 minutes.
I would also say that a nice restaurant like this one that has. QR code for a menu is a shame. Just my opinion.
I ordered prawn cocktail and got 4 prawns for $19. I felt the whole meal and experience was lackluster and overpriced.

Staff was nice and attentive and the place has a good open space and vibe. But the food...we ordered the ceviche which was tasty but served in a metallic (maybe aluminum?) martini glass? Tacky IMHO. A nice mexican ceramic bowl that makes it easy to scoop out the fish with the (tasty) tortilla chips would be so much better. My other half ordered shrimp tacos which the restaurant served with melted cheese. Seriously? Keep the tacos simple. Leave the cheese to the side. Decent margaritas.

Excellent spot for whatever you are looking for, especially the margaritas. The chips and salsa are freshly made and the queso is absolutely amazing. Service here is top notch as the ownership truly care about their business.

Went on a busy day. Very loud, very crowded, packed uncomfortably like sardines. Waiters took a long time to get to us but they were nice and the food was delicious. Which made up for the discomfort, I'd definitely come back.

Food is generally very good, but pricey. Margaritas at 16.50 is too expensive. Overall appearance is nice but bar stools are too short for the bar and there was a not so pleasant smell at the bar.

OMG! Delish every time! It's our family go-to on a regular basis. The Pastor Tacos are THE best in town and legit - tastes right out of top-notch Taquerías in Mexico City. We've always had great hospitality and timely service. And JP is still there, which shows a lot of consistency. And for those online complainers, a $7.50 huge pastor taco with pineapple salsa + free chips with two respectable salsas is SMOKIN' deal! If you can't afford that, best that you don't eat out ;-) Seriously, we highly recommend La Esquina. Best Mexican flavor in town!

Loved the food and atmosphere. The staff was friendly and we were able to make reservations via email the day before. My mother's a strict and picky vegetarian and she devoured the vegetarian enchiladas. The sweet and spicy shrimp tacos were the best recommendation from the server. The fish dish was also a super hit. Everything on the menu and the drinks are amazing. Great back patio as well- would be ideal for a small get-together/ party.

Great Mexican style food with a range of seating including just inside off the sidewalk which makes for a nice evening dining and view of the area and passers by. The blueberry cobbler for dessert was great! The veggie enchiladas with a green salsa was excellent!

Wildly overpriced for what it is. Beware the $14 guacamole...
Very great experience. Highly recommend. We sat at the bar and got some of the best service from Chad. He is very knowledgeable in his tequila. Leonard came over and gave us one of the best welcoming ever as well. Food was amazing. But again, the service takes this spot over the top.
