As a cultural technologist with a deep love for history, I specifically sought out Mee Heng Low for its incredible significance as the oldest restaurant in San Luis Obispo. It did not disappoint! Our server and hostess, Dana, was absolutely wonderful—both highly professional in her service and incredibly accommodating in sharing her rich historical knowledge of the building and its legacy. They have fresh bao and dumplings, and the staff are sweet people. The restaurant has great food, great staff, and great atmosphere.
