The food here is Amazing, we Bring all our Family here when they visit!! From Texas, Mexico, L.A., the food is worth the drive, for L.A. friends and family...they love it!! I hadn't tried the ribs! Now they're my Favorite!!!

We had a wonderful lunch at Mo's on our recent trip to SLO. My wife had the tri tip salad, and I had the pulled chicken salad-both excellent in every respect. As a plus, Mo's also has a fine selection of beers on tap. We will return on our next trip to Slo-highly recommended.

Online prices need to be updated. Otherwise I'd give five stars. Convenient and good food

Happy to find a paleo option at a BBQ spot! I ordered the salad and it was big enough for me to share with my friend. Our other friend got the tacos and said they were 4/5 stars. Place was clean and service was great! Only complaint was the meat in the salad was extremely well done. So if you don't like that, make sure you let the cashier know.

between us 3 we each got a pulled pork sandwich. Man. that thing was amazing and full of flavor. We are visiting from Fresno and decided to try out Mo’s. The girls are friendly and helpful and the food was out in less than 6 mins. Really Good!! definitely recommend. thanks!

Not sure why average is at 3.5, this place is awesome! Great tri tip, local ipa and home made chips! And the others too.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had….. Every time I asked a question the kid at the counter had no idea and gave me wrong information I found out from another employee that he was incorrect on several things. Food came and the ribs were dry as the Mojave desert. WORST potato salad EVER. Bean taste like canned pork and beans…..Save your time and your money

We decided to try this bbq place for a change when we stopped by SLO on our drive back to OC. We tried the half pound with three different flavors and each one was distinctively good on its own. We also had the garlic bread and sweet potato on the side which were also good. Service was fast. We wish we had bought their bottled sauces to go.

Mo's impressed me because it was clean, and the service was prompt and friendly. Two of our group did the smart thing and actually got BBQ (chicken). They loved it! I got a cheeseburger . . . the bun was soft and toasted, the toppings were fresh and cold, but the patty was a frozen disk. And it tasted like a frozen disk. Shame on me. I'll come back, but I'm gonna do BBQ. Cheers! RS

Food was decent for the price. But I looked down and saw my toddler eating the cornbread with a nice HAIR baked into it, there was also hair in his Mac & cheese, so I ended up throwing half my meal away. Also, when I ordered my salad they didn't ask me for what type of dressing I'd like, so it just came with ranch.

We came to this location in search of some BBQ as central coast loves the Tri Tip BBQ. We are from the south and wanted more of our style BBQ (Pulled Pork, Chicken, Ribs smothered in BBQ sauce! Lol) The location is in downtown San Luis Obispo which is home to Cal Poly Tech! So it's a little college town. The decor felt like a BBQ place with a industrial style decor. I ordered a 3 Meat BBQ plate that included Ribs, Pulled Pork, and a piece of smoked chicken. My sides included bake beans and potato salad and a piece of cornbread. The ribs were very juicy they used the Philthy Phil's sauce to coat the ribs. It is a good tangy vinegar with a kick of mustard. I liked it 4 of 5 stars! The pulled pork was okay wasn't much favor to the meat. It was coated with the original/mild sauce which was a decent bbq sauce normal style bbq sauce. The chicken was slightly dry but not the worse I've had. The chicken was coated in the Sweet Carolina BBQ sauce which was pretty good probably my favor of them all. The bake beans are not my typical southern style bake beans so they were okay, they are just not my style. Same goes for their potato salad. The cornbread was very very good!

To start off the service here is the lowest quality service someone can get. The food was not even cooked correctly. We addressed our complaints to the cook and still he went to say it had been cooking for 5 hours. So I don't see why it would be pink ?? If it was cooking for so long?? Anyway wouldn't recommend this place at all. Salty and undercooked food with terrible customer service. L restaurant
