Someone forgot to set the hours for new years day. Said "Open" all morning while remaining quite closed. Doing my laundry next door and had the privilege of watching a hundred disappointed customers drive by or even walk up to the door. Hilarious!

Came in and ordered a breakfast burrito on 8/10/24 not a particularly busy morning at all. 37 minutes later went up and asked if the food was close to being done. They had no idea that we had ordered and paid for food. Ticket wasn’t sent to the kitchen. No apologies or explanations just told to wait and that they’d get it started and bring it to us. Brought it over 15 minutes later, again no apologies. Food was okay but not a 45 minute wait okay. Staff was rude and seemed inconvenienced that we had ordered food AND coffees.

Highly recommend the Mexican Mocha! This spot is so cute I could look at the decorations for hours. I also had the kitchen sink burrito and it was very filling, the sauce was amazing had a bit too much rice but still delicious.

Patrick Nagel prints on skateboard decks??!!! ? This place is cool!! If you are passing through SLO and you need a pick-me-up, swing through Nautical Bean. It's close to the freeway and easily accessible. It's like an 80's museum of California culture. Check it out!!
50/50 about this place. Coffee has gotten so expensive even drip coffee is at least $4. Cool place for a coffee date. Lots to look at. The burritos are huge. The iced drinks are yummy. Lots of flavor options but I think they all just taste like coffee tbh nothing amazingly yummy about them

Nautical Bean has been one of my favorite coffee houses for a few years now. Our drinks were made correctly according to our requests and the service was top notch. The bagel with cream cheese was hot and delicious. Employee that brought my bagel over to my table noticed I had a frequent flyer punchcard sitting out and offered to punch it for me. She took it, punched it and brought it back. Great customer service. I also love the vibe and decor inside. They have three locations and I’ve had good experience at all three.
