A San Luis Obispo institution. They make a good sandwich. I had one of their signature sandwiches, the Dutch Punch or something like that. Lots of sandwich filling for sure. Good bread. Kind of pricey at around $15 per sandwich. It is a take out place, with a few places to sit outside. I’d come here again. Closes at 4 it seems.
High Street Market and Deli is absolutely worth the hype. I ordered the “Dutch Punch” and it was magnificent. Expect a wait if you don’t order online/phone. It was worth the wait and we were able to dine in as there are a limited number of tables at the original location. We are trying out the larger venue today for comparison. If ever in San Luis Obispo this is a must stop.
This is a significant upgrade from Subway, and I can say that with confidence, having worked at both Subway locations on campus. Stop wasting your time waiting for inexperienced college kids to make your sandwich when the new Poly Deli offers expertly crafted wraps, clubs, and rolls made by seasoned professionals. Poly Deli is underrated because most people flock to Chick-fil-A or Panda Express, but if you want a tastier, less processed, and fresher alternative to Subway, this...
