I ordered coleslaw with my dinner; it was not delivered. I paid five dollars extra for the coleslaw, and there was no way to contact anyone to let them know they had screwed up the delivery. The Dasher could not communicate with me because she could not speak or understand English.

First time going to a Popeyes and have no interest in ever returning to any Popeyes restaurant ever. My expectations for fast food service are not high but the service here is some of the worst ever, staff are rude. Waited over 5 minutes at the front register to be rung up and employees would just pass by without even acknowledging me. Finally some rude young lady came over to ring me up. I then proceeded to wait for my order next to the register but my order was never called. After noticing a food order on counter for a couple minutes, I proceeded to approach the counter and ask employee if order was for me. She didn't even bother responding and just gave me a nod, while rolling her eyes. Food was cold and so incredibly underwhelming. Seemed to me like the sandwiches were pre-made prior to order. Its hard for me to grasp the appeal of this place. If looking for a good chicken sandwich in SLO, Jay Bird’s Chicken is your best bet.

Horrible store! Took out payment online, said our order would be delivered in 30 minutes. 45 minutes later, after a frustrating call, didn't know about our order, come back tomorrow. No manager to talk to. Dad goes to pick up, not ready, but shown on register. Didn't get all of the order, and want tip removed. Two very bad workers who could care less about their service.

Service is horrible. I ordered for 12 pcs. Family meal, and the cashier says 4 pcs. combo meal. I have to remind her three times of my order, she keep telling me 4 pcs. combo meal. Then, she would tell the manager that I change my mind, then she charge me for the rice which should be included with the family meal sides. Since she charge me for the rice, I would be expecting two side of rice, but there is only one. So, I told the manager, and she said that everything It suppose to be one rice only eventhough they charge me extra for the rice. What a terrible service they have there.
Service sucks. Only customer in the store and got to listen to the employees have a conversation and ignore my daughter and I completely. They asked me if I wanted to order as I walked out the door. Wasn't the 1st poor service, but will be the last.. Better chicken with better service at other places in SLO.

The food wasn't very good . Got cold shrimp and hard too. Disappointed. The women at register was very friendly ... as long as u spoke spanish. White person came in the smile was gone and order not coming out as fast as others. I felt a little put bk at her attude. The new girl was so lost felt bad for her. The rude lady has her face already in the reviews

My wife was craving fried chicken, so with our likited options, we said how bad could a 2.2 star popeyes be? Well, I rarely like leaving a poor review, but when I do it's a WARNING! They messed up our order 4 times! Our combo chicken didn't come with a biscuit, they forgot 2 of the sides we paid for, and served a regular sized size when I paid for large. The soda station didn't have any of the lids or straws, we weren't served with napkins, and no napkins were available anywhere. So luckily I brought napkins in my car. The chicken sizes were a joke, but that didn't even factor into the review. I can be compassionate for mistakes, but the staff had no sense of apology and were even dismissive. We wanted to like it. Pro Tip: bring your own napkins.
