Of course, when cramming for exams, who does not crave a hot fresh cookie at all hours of the night? The other good thing in a College town, is that an early morning donut shop is also just a few blocks away. This is of course not health food, but is a nice treat even for those who graduated eons ago.
My family and I debate about who has the best cookies - Insomnia or another local bakery. I believe insomnia is the winner! Large selection and the flavors are delicious. You never get a bad cookie. Always soft and tasting fresh. I love Insomnia Cookies!

Perfect little cookie/ice cream spot in SLO.Cookies and brownies are served warm and topped or filled like a sandwich with ice cream.The ice cream is great quality, and not overly sweet. I got the blondie which was warm, gooey, and crispy around the edges.Seating area is limited, but there is indoor and outdoor seating.
