We loved the amount of food given, especially the meat portion compared to ramen. It was an amazing place to eat while it was raining. The ramen filled both of us up. However, we're used to cheaper prices. The service was amazing, the person at the counter offered helped and even told the cooks to hold on certain ingredients in the ramen. (My partner is a bit picky!) Over all, it was a great experience.

Ugh I really really wanted to like this place because my husband used to come here when he attended CP SLO. But, born and raised in LA and I have been exposed to really amazing ramen places. Unfortunately, this ramen broth lacked taste for me and was really hard to finish. Although, staff and environment were amazing. It just wasn't it for me.

The good: * Great vibe, environment, and service. Random weekday evening had plenty of people, a long (but fast-moving) line * Efficient ordering system with kiosks! * Karaage, albeit it's an accomplishment to mess up fried chicken thighs :) The not so good: * Ramen on (IMO) all levels. Spicy tonkotsu was bland across the board. Overcooked egg, overcooked noodles, shockingly flavorless fried garlic. Green onions were fine. * $$ - expensive even for a former metro dweller like me. I will say though...Raku seems like it has the most potential with respect to ingredients + existing hardware. I think with some recipe tweaks this place could be pretty decent to potentially really good. For the time being, I've given up on Raku and SLO ramen in general unfortunately...

This ramen is ass. Broth= bland, noodles= meh, egg=overdone. If you like bad ramen, this place is perfect!

A bit on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for (large portions). Their signature ramen is worth the

I ate here for the first time this weekend and it was delicious! I got the vegetable ramen and my fiancé got the Raku ramen. Both were great! The service was fast and the facilities were clean. Overall a great experience and we will be coming back!

After trying out this ramen joint, I found the experience to be middling. While the service was quick and the staff friendly, the ramen fell short of expectations. The broth lacked the rich depth of flavor I was hoping for, and the noodles had a peculiar taste that didn't quite hit the mark. Be prepared for a lively atmosphere as they're usually busy, which means seating can be limited. Overall, it's an okay option if you're pressed for time, but I'd suggest exploring other ramen spots for a more satisfying bowl.

First time. Was not disappointed-- I had the Raku ramen with chicken instead of pork. Sooo good! Self ordering station was a nice touch and the service was fast. Vibe was chill. Would definitely recommend.

The Ramen is awesome. I have tried the tonkatsu, the shio, and the Shoyu. Staff is actually nice and helpful. Can get busy with college students. Remember to eat and slurp your ramen

Needed a vegan meal and I like the basil pesto ramen. They were very knowledgeable and got me just what I wanted. Thank you for your extra help.

This is the first place I went when I first came to SLO and it won't be my last. Their udon and ramen is pretty comparable to the Bay Area. I love their beef udon and their side dishes (edamame, char siu bao, and katsu) is always a great compliment to whatever main dish you get. Their service is fast and it always amazes me that they are able to find you wherever you sit without you telling them anything. This is a great sit down place to hangout with friends or quick meal!

Yummy Ramen. Kind of pricey for a bowl of soup. Everyone that worked there was very nice. The larger size bowl is very big, too much for me for lunch.

The menu board does not have prices, and in some cases complete description. Ordered what I thought were standard pork buns (Cha Sui Bao) and got some kind of small sandwiches???
