Awesome pick up party, had to double down the Elody!!
Came here for a tasting. Told the greeter that we were industry. We got seated, and after some time, a blonde female server came out. Poured us a rose blend. Told us nothing about the winery or the wine. After waiting almost 20 minutes for the second taste poor we just got up and left. Very poor service.
They're known for their zinfandel, and they didn't disappoint. The spring wine flight was good, but the zinfandel by itself stood out as the best among the five. The server was very knowledgeable about all the wines she was pouring and very friendly. I plan to return next time I'm in SLO.
Fantastic winetasting experience at Saucelito Canyon! They don't have a stunning view, but it's a pretty, rustic, warm and welcoming place. And it is Wine Dog friendly! Our server was lovely, the wines were tasty and well-priced, and the food was delicious, too! We enjoyed the goat cheese & fig jam offering as well as the Seascape Cheddar plate. Yum!
Beautiful atmosphere but I just wish they had an ev charger. I would've spent my afternoon here if they did. Great back road zinfandel
We find Saucelito to be almost a throwback to the good old days of wine tasting, where you can talk to people in production and get an insider’s insight into what you’re tasting and why. Such a pleasant venue, relaxed and tied into the location . Flowers and critters in a rural setting, with incredible estate wines and thoughtful bought in juice, with a distinctive bias in flavor profiles across many different varietals. One our favorites!
Great! Our host was nice and knowledgeable.
Excellent service and our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, answering all of our wine questions. The tasting room is a nice quiet place next to a lot of vinyards where we could savor each glass under the cool breeze. Interesting lighter Zins if you are used to the jammy heavier flavors from Paso Robles, but certainly not lacking in fruity aroma. I could have them all day ?

Very nice tasting experience! Their outdoor patio is one of the best in the area (there is some indoor seating). Their focus is on Zinfandel and red blends, all of which are very good. The staff members are very personable and knowledgeable. We’ve been there several times and will certainly go back.

We found our jam! These wines are perfect for our palate! Wonderful staff and local Diane made our visit extra special. Cheers!
We were at Saucelito Canyon Winery tonight for a Wine Club pick up party for the February release. They had some delicious Mushroom Bisque that had a Bacon and Corn Chutney added. It was delicious. The wines were all great, from the Sparkling wine to start, the new release Viognier, and the 2 Zinfandel as well as the Dos Mas and Rable Rouser blend. A lot of fun and the entertainment was good as well with Dustin Winklepleck playing.
Knowledge staff who are friendly dog-lovers. Perfect location for rustic wedding or parties!
Great place for wine tasting, off Edna Rd near SLO airport. Very nice outdoor patio. Wine club has music and food for quarterly wine pickups, free wine tasting anytime.
Recommended. Great tasting red wines. Lovely atmosphere.
