Adorable place which amazing specialty coffee options which are my favourite to try. They had a pine and maple one decently which was so good! They were also quick and friendly.

Beautiful coffee shop in SLO! Super simple menu and delicious already made food!
Maybe the one downtown is better, but both times I went here it wasn't special. This is the longest I've ever had to wait for coffee. I'm not one to complain about service as generally I'll tip 20% no matter what, but on the second visit when there was seemingly nobody else there, it was 15-20 minutes for them to make two lattes. Not because they were extensive, mind you, but because the baristas literally just weren't making it. The last thing I ever want to do is be a rude customer, but this was astounding. Even when we eventually said something, they basically went "Oh, here" and quickly threw some coffee into a cup. I didn't sip my drink until I left because I was running late due to their unnecessary delays, but I wish I did because despite ordering a flavored latte, I just got a plain latte. Coffee's fine but that's the bare minimum.

Their scones are so good!!!! Prefer this location to the one downtown. Cash is not
This is my favorite Scout location. Plenty of parking in the plaza and the surrounding area. There are lots of good things in the surrounding plaza and across the street too. This location is very close to the campus and is almost always busy. There lots of space inside and out and the staff is very friendly and can handle the high volume. We got a cheddar and bacon scone , blueberry muffin, matcha Latte, woodlands latte. The cheddar scone was awesome and the muffin was good as well. Matcha was good but slightly milky in flavor. The Almond milk latte I got was their Homemade woodlands flavor. It was a mix of maple , citrus and Douglas Fir. Like as in the tree. I know it sounds crazy, but it was actually subtle and pleasant. I enjoyed the flavor all the way to the bottom of the cup. I also went there another day for a winter seasonal and got the maple and sea salt latte which was great as well. This is my most favorite location and will keep coming back for more.Parking: Lots of parking spaces in the plazaKid-friendliness: Lots of room in here for families

Great coffee, good latte art (my cut off is if they do latte art in your take out cup, its extra impressive), unique house made syrups (I think I got a wilderness latte, which was something like citrus and pine), and good welcoming atmosphere to study in?? Nothing I can complain about. Prices are as reasonable as can be for third wave coffee (less than $6 for flavored latte). One of the best coffee shops in SLO for sure.

Back when I lived on this side of town, SCOUT was my go-to coffee spot, and to be quite honest, it played a huge part in developing my coffee addiction. There's something about their coffee that's simply irresistible. Now, even though I've moved to the other side of town, I still find myself drawn back to this familiar haunt at least once a month. It's become a sort of ritual for me to make the journey here early in the morning, just to grab a cup of their exceptional joe. The distinct taste, the perfect blend, and the comforting ambiance of SCOUT are worth every mile traveled. It's more than just a coffee shop; it's a place that holds a special spot in my coffee-loving heart. This location, in particular, has a charm that I haven't found anywhere else, making those early morning drives absolutely worthwhile.

Amazing coffee shop in SLB. We stopped here while driving to Solvang. Highly recommend their vanilla bean latte and any holiday drinks. Will be back soon!
