Lovely place to visit if you are in the area. They have very nice ambience with outdoor sitting on deck, surrounded by flowers. The staff is very curtious and helpful. We went for wine tasting combined with lunch and picked the place due to multiple food options and it did not disappoint. Wine flight had great selection from Paso robles area wines and the panini and flatbread were just a perfect pair.

Personally I haven't tasted the wines but I was there with my group, the owners who do the tastings themselves are very friendly and enthusiastic, you can feel their passion in their way of explaining things. Since I didn't drink they offered me a rose lemonade, it's a little extra but for me it makes a difference. Thank you to them for their kindness and their passion!

Sextant Winery at the Edna Valley Tasting Room is an absolute gem located in the beautiful Edna Valley at the historic 'Old Edna' townsite. The wine was truly exceptional, and the experience was elevated by their fantastic gourmet deli. We enjoyed everything from artisanal cheeses and sandwiches to soups and freshly baked cookies that were simply divine! I recommend making a reservation, even though we managed to get one on the same day—it's worth planning ahead. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend you do too. Five stars!

We have been members for well over a decade and have always loved the great varietals Craig and Team come forth. Everything from elegant to bold and my wife and I have several favorites. We were just coming back from the Dog Surfing Championships in Pacifica and figured we had to stop at the tasting room in Paso. We have known Rick in Edna for years and many of the other tasting professionals, however on this trip we were blessed to have Christina. Her knowledge, tasting notes, and service was fantastic. Definitely made us feel like part of the family. The Meat and Cheese Board was one of the best we have had, which we paired with some great wines! What an amazing treat on a long haul home!

Reservations seem to be required. I have been turned away a couple times but this time they had room. They have limited seating and very few attendants so the service was really slow. The gentleman that poured our wine was very nice and as attentive as her could be. Our favorite wine was the Zinfandel. Everything else was just ok. Still worth a try if you live in the area and have seen all the other wineries.

A highlight of our trip to the Central Coast! While it doesn't have a stunning view, it is a pretty, rustic, relaxing and charming place. Excellent wine! Excellent service too - nice people! What we especially like about Sextant is that instead of just serving bread or cheeses, you can actually get a meal here - and the food is very good - highly recommend!

Amazingly delicious wines! Deborah was such a wonderful, joy-filled hostess and brought the wines to life for us. She has extensive knowledge of wine and knows the nuances of all the blends and varietals. Deborah is the primary reason that we are members of the Sextant Captain club.
