Simple dining in a very friendly environment. Nice to feel so welcomed and appreciated. Northern Thai food is my favorite, and is rare to see it on Thai menus, yet alone executed well (Kha Soi).

New Rochester Thai restaurant directly across from St Marys Hospital. The Pad Thai with tofu is really good with spiciness as little or much as you prefer. Good to check it out.

Oh mon dieu! Dude this place is so fire, the first bite brought me face to face with our heavenly father and he said everyone should tip 22%, yes even in this economy, so worth guys. I got the prik king with beef and I ate it all up, yum yum.

Me and my roommate were looking for a Thai place to eat and we came across Thai-rrific. It was super close and looked a little too good to be true. When I tell you, the food was so good. It was unbelievably reasonably priced, a Thai iced tea for 3$??? Garlic noodles for 12?? We were so excited at the prospect of well priced food in San Luis Obispo. Considering we are broke college students. We got our orders taken (by a lovely lady as well she was super nice), and patiently waited. We did not wait long for our lovely dishes to come out, the smell was enticing as all hell and the second I took a bite. Something came over me. I have these pictures that are 11 minutes apart from each other and when I tell you I licked the plate clean was not a joke. It was so good, you can tell that the food was made with so much skill and practice and first hand experience. I think I had an out of body experience with my garlic noodles, I swore I came out of that restaurant a different person filled with happiness and a full belly. If you see this review, I am sitting in my car with a smile on my face knowing how GOOD this restaurant is.

This restaurant nails everything. Price, speed, quality. I ordered the beef pad Thai lunch special, my goodness. What a wonderful meal, I will reccomend everyone I know to this place from now on. I will be back many many times!

Just recently discovered this place in SLO! By far, the best thai food in SLO. Thai restaurants tend to be hit or miss in California but this place is up there with some of the great Thai restaurants that I've been to in bigger cities and the Bay Area. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is great! Highly reccommend!

My last trip to Thai-rrific was a little bit of a disappointment after all the years I've been going to this restaurant and knowing the former owner. First thing I noticed was they ripped out all the ivy around the outside the restaurant and they ripped out the the Thailand props they had outside as well. The ivy was iconic for this particular restaurant because it was always there for the past 40 years, so I was completely disappointed that they did something that basically ruined the look of the restaurant. Second thing was the food has changed, the legendary coconut soup with a flame under it they got rid of that which they only serving a bowl now. Third thing is the prices were just outrageously expensive. I was just shocked to see how much they increased their prices, I understand inflation but they just went way overboard on their prices. The fourth thing is there was only two people working there, one server and then a cook in the back that's it. How can a restaurant function with only two employees and they're charging so much for their food? It doesn't make any sense. I really didn't want to leave a negative review on this business because I knew Sam and this is not Sam's restaurant anymore because the new owner apparently has decided to change the rules and I'm not a big fan of what he's done. The food wasn't terrible but I was disappointed that the new owner has decided to change some of the originality of the restaurant that's been known for it. I'm just very sad that they're trying to change something that should never have been changed.

"We had a delightful dining experience with very flavorful Thai dishes that weren't overly sweet, which I truly enjoyed. Our favorites were the Vegetable Pad Kee Mao, Chicken Yellow Coconut Curry, Fried Spring Rolls, and Jasmine Rice. The portion size was ample for the two of us, and the pricing was fair for the area. Our server, who managed the service solo, provided excellent service to every customer. If given the opportunity, we would definitely return. Our dinner was thoroughly enjoyable."
